16 killed in cracker unit fire near Madurai

Chennai: Sixteen workers were killed in a devastating fire at a cracker factory near Madurai on Tuesday. The death toll is expected to rise as there were nearly 150 workers inside the factory when the fire broke out late in the evening. Several of them have been admitted to hospital.
