The Abbas faction was ruling this land and made peace with israel. Then the extremists went out of job, they formed Hamas. Then the hamas realised if Abbas rules they will still be out of job, as he discouraged terrorism. So hamas cleverly got rid of Abbas for hs wild behaviour. Abbas was driven out to the west bank, his people were killed, the chaos returned to GAZA. So hamas has its land , nation. But the problem with the Hamas is it wants to wipe Israel out of the map. So it is clear that this type of people can never be in peace. Their head would shatter if there is no voilence, they try to conquer the whole world, get rid of people with wild behaviour and then blast their own people.

Israel has all the latest technology, weapons and aircrafts. Its Israel with the help of U.S which always broke the peace deal starting with the ones done by Yasser Arafat. It kept on demolishing Palestinians house where Palestinians lived and creating new settlements for Jews coming from around the globe. And for Gods sake please do not compare these people to terrorists who are attacking India. If we compare them so then freedom fighters like Bhagath Singh and his followers should be looked from the same angle. All our freedom fighters were not Gandhians. Or is the commentators here biased just because they think the Palestinians are only Muslims. Then please note that they include Arab Christians as well.

The civilian casulaties is regrettable but this is really the unfortunate reality of war which is why democracries having civilian governments seek war as only the last option.India has to draw lessons from Israel even though India is no Israel and Pakistan is no Palestine when it comes to military might . Nonelthelss ,the sentiment India must draw is that, it is supreme responsibilty coming from a collective consience of a nation to not to look away from war if its thrust on you. As Lord Krishna said to Arjuna in Mahabharat "Arujun , yudh kar , yeh dharam yudh hai".

First step in fighting terrorism, forget vote bank politics. Then this cancer can be cured. We did succeed against Sikh terorism, was it because a major politician was a victim of it? Then will we resolve to fight Islamic terrorism if some major 'secular' politician thriving on muslim votes becomes its big victim?
