If the laws or be it Consititution even if indirectly promotes it, better amend the constitution. After all the laws of nature are far more forceful and enduring than the Constitution.

Even "educated" people in India have a hard time digesting the difference between their opinions and the truths they have to live by. Another person's sexuality is NONE of your business. That is the fundamental ruling of the Supreme Court. Just because you think homosexuality is a lack of development, doesn't make it so. Going by your own logic, it must be criminal then to be mentally retarded!!Learn to accept what you cannot control, and most of all, those of you who are gay bashers, know that you too could have been one of them. It isn't your "preference" that you are heterosexual. It is your orientation.More than anything, learn not to poke your nose into other people's affairs. The Supreme Court of India deserves kudos for clarity.

Homosexuality is not grenetic and is common during the transition phase of sexually undifferntiated response during childhood. It improves with intellectual develoment and emotional and family security and values.It needs to be identified and need counselling.Adopting a child has emotional and psychological connotations with long term consequences. It is a myth that man can provide what mother can do. Yes now with the judegment matrimonial columns should include "i am Gay" , "Only gay need to contact".
