Punish the culprits !!By: Azim | Sunday , 5 Jul '09 16:54:55 PM Reply | Forward We should see this incident as if it has happened with ourselves, why are we killed like dogs in our own country.Kill the culprits !!
MrBy: Vijay | Sunday , 5 Jul '09 16:44:13 PM Reply | Forward It is necessary to bring the public pressure to investigate the matter with utmost urgency and honesty. This is not an isolated case limited to one place. This is the rampant exhibition of police culture all over India.Even in genuine encounter there are certain and precise steps to follow before and after the encounter. were the police followed them? Were the police were trained for such encounter? The investigation in such cases must be made by an independent body who can not be influenced by the politicians or police authorities. From the police own description of events and post mortem report it is hard to believe that it was a genuine encounter. No doubt there are still some honest and outstanding police personnel. I urge them to come forward and expose the blacksheeps within their force. It is also the responsibilty of the journalists to follow such cases truthfully. And public at large must demand accountability from erring politicians and/or law enforcing authorities.
Fake encounterBy: Kutty | Sunday , 5 Jul '09 16:36:10 PM Reply | Forward "Fake encounter" is not a new word in these days, but usually it appears with extremists, but here a person killed in cold blood according to press release. I pray that this should not happen again.
Fake encountersBy: Mohammed Tariq | Sunday , 5 Jul '09 16:21:06 PM Reply | Forward I am living in Saudi Arabia. Our Indian Police and their top brass are living in the age of British Raj. These police men are totally uncivilized in their approach to innocent people of India. They should be hanged till death in public place if it is proved that it was a fake encounter. Our IAS and IPS officer should realized that they are living in global village.
Aleged fake encounterBy: Sreekumar | Sunday , 5 Jul '09 15:35:02 PM Reply | Forward Uttarkhand Police, in a barbaric manner allegedly shot dead Ranbir, an MBA pass out from Meerut University. It is a shocking news for all of us, escpecially the alleged culprits are law enflorcing authority of the State. If the parent's allegations are proved correct, stringent punishment should be handed over to those guilty of misusing the official power and authority.
