Certain non proteinous nitrate in food intake is transformed into fat. This is similar to farmers putting UREA in milk to get more cream, thus more income. Sex desire is a healthy response of body, attempting to unload nitrates not yet locked up, to reduce toxicity which can affect brain functiion.
