Ganguly a serial offender, cry Oz media

Melbourne, October 14:: Intentionally or inadvertently, Sourav Ganguly continues to rub Australians the wrong way and the media in Melbourne poured vitriol on the former India skipper, accusing him of indulging in delaying tactics to ensure the Bangalore Test ended in a draw. The popular belief here is that Australia   ....Read more

We should appreciate Dada real patriot,By: ANANTH KAMATH | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 20:51:06 PM Reply | Forward They could not get Bajjy and Jahir out in first inning,How they could finish all 10 players in 60 overs?.We should behave tit for tat with them. Our media should also suport our players.Gone are the days when vishwanath would call back player when umpire given him out and we lost the game to England Nobody remembers that gesture. He should do it delibrately,Greg chapal asked to throw under arm, nobody from Australia feels shame about it,then why should we care them. Now we are cricket gaints even in terms of money.Dont forget bothom telling India is place where Mother in law should be sent .Now all are ready to come to india and may even clean our streets if they get good money.
Australian reporting By: Khush | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 20:48:40 PM Reply | Forward Could we please have these reporters bat in the fading light whilst facing Brett Lee before they write these comments ? We can then discuss this issue further. Clearly the reporters suggest that the poor umpires conspired with the Indians to deprive Australia of victory. Ha Ha Ha !!!
cry Oz mediaBy: Sreenath Prabhu | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 20:42:32 PM Reply | Forward I cannot understand what morality does the Australians have to point a finger on Indian Cricketers. If you remember not so long ago the same Ricky Ponting directed the umpire to lift his finger for a catch taken under suspecious ciscumstances. Ricky and his men or in that case the AUSTRALIANS does not have any right. They just wan't to win the game by hook or croock. Ganguly did just the right thing and it is within the rules of ICC. The Australians are aggressive team but need to have some cooooool brain and most importantly.. RICKY DON'T YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS A GENTLEMAN'S GAME. I feel pitty on the Australians as they CRIB for victory like Small kids complaining to their mother
Light MeterBy: krishna | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 20:32:46 PM Reply | Forward Oz are simply bad losers. They will find any excuse to slam any person other than own brethren. I wish they grow up at least now. They cried foul when Hayden was given out in the first innings. But when Ponting got a life because of umpire error they kept mum. By the same yardstick would they accept Dravid was out. If some of the antics played in the field by ponting an clarke, any other country player does, those actions will be million bites in their media and will consume tons of newsprint.IT IS TIME THEY MATURE AT LEAST FROM NOW ON !!!!!
Give me a breakBy: Suresh Francis | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 19:07:11 PM Reply | Forward Australians needed to take a long breather that they did not get beaten by Indian team. No Australians complaint that there were clear errors in judgement on Sydney test and Australian won with lot of errors from Australian players. So No one objected at that time. Give me a break

Courageous SauravBy: S.A. Krishnan | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 17:34:39 PM Reply | Forward The outburst by Australian Media was but expected. OZs are poor losers. They could not accept that bad light and more importantly, some resolute batting led to a drawn test. We must be proud that we have courageous people like Ganguly. What is wrong is reminding the umpires about light. Quite possibly, with better light even Tendulkar may not have lost concentration. If it were Dravid, Tendulkar or Kumble, they would have waited till sunset and then meekly asked the umpires if there was enough light! Hats off to you Saurav: we need more people like you. Hopefully Srikant and BCCI would take note.
