Ganguly a serial offender, cry Oz media

Melbourne, October 14:: Intentionally or inadvertently, Sourav Ganguly continues to rub Australians the wrong way and the media in Melbourne poured vitriol on the former India skipper, accusing him of indulging in delaying tactics to ensure the Bangalore Test ended in a draw. The popular belief here is that Australia   ....Read more

On Chappel's GuidanceBy: Gavas | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 17:14:06 PM Reply | Forward Greg Chappel might have apprised the droopy yet gaudy Australian band wagon, the point in dragging on the first essay on an Indian venue. And Ricky Ponting and his men might have followed that advice religiously. However, if there is a saying like, cometh the hour cometh the man, there definitely would be a scope for yet another, stating when ill times come anything, even one's own conscience tends to betray. Greg Chappel must have read the theme right but on a different occasion. Say when he had two bowlers of the genre of Kumble or Harbhajan to bowl on the final day's mine field. Attempting something like with one kid called Clarke and a troupe of quickies obviously looked like an experiment if not ridiculous. Chappel will have another opportunity of the kind in Mohali, where too, he can advise Ponting to focus on the final day expecting Shane Warne's ghost would turn up then, instead of capitalising on the dew of the opening day with his fast bowlers.
Australians are rightBy: Sham | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 16:30:59 PM Reply | Forward Australians are right, ganguly has this ego problem, its a good news for india he is retiring soon. He behaves as if he is some prince, he should know these kings and queens were abolished when india got independence.

know yourselfBy: Prakash | Wednesday , 15 Oct '08 8:26:50 AM Reply | Forward people with low self-esteem like yourself should look back at what the aussies and their stupid media are up to all the time. Wake up you idiot!

stupidity and lack of acceptanceBy: ashok pai | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 15:52:47 PM Reply | Forward australians simply cant admit that they are no longer the force to be reckoned with. what was supposed to be over within 4 days, or even 3, he oz team simply laboured through the first innings to make sure they have a decent total. zaheer was spot on.all that whingeing - after the match was over is typically oz behavior of late
sydney robbersBy: indi | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 15:49:28 PM Reply | Forward If sydney robbers had not cheated in sydney, India would have won the series in australia
India's slow tactics?!By: Sujeet Ramanna | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 15:46:01 PM Reply | Forward Ha Ha ha! how was Ricky Ponting and his team going to win in the last day, unless he was carrying some voodoo magic material from the aborigines, back in native Australia. Agreed, they had a chance to win the match. But they didnt look anywhere close to winning the match, they were having such a lot of problems trying to get each indian wicket. Even Harbhajan and Zaheer were so hard for them to get out in the first innings. And about the part of the 'slow tactics' of the indian team on the 5th day. The australian team should considered themselves lucky, that the 5th day of play looked like a result coming out of it. They played their 1st and the 2nd innings like drunk snails compared to their usual confident and aggressive batting (less than 3 avg. in an over?!! compared to the usual 4) . It was only the aggressive Indian batting that moved things forward in the 1st innings. Lets face it, Australia doesnt look invincible as they did during the time the of greats like McGrath and Warne
Serial Offender? Ganguly?By: Surendra Cholkar | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 15:29:24 PM Reply | Forward For a change Aussies were at the receiving end when they were denied a probable victory. They have used the same tactics
Total SportBy: Anar | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 15:23:35 PM Reply | Forward I don’t think that Oz media is write calling Ganguly or any Indian players a “serial offender”, we are there to play cricket and in India it is the most respected and loved “SPORT”. When can these Oz media realize this ?, And whatever happened … the stoppage of play due to bad light ….. it was not Ganguly who took the decision … so calling him a offender is not justified by any means In India we pay “total SPORT …… GAME is what Australians play” and who could deny this they are the World Champions in this GAME……..
Audacious UmpiringBy: Mohan Bedekar | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 14:39:07 PM Reply | Forward Audacious Umpiring! It is just their graciousness that Australian media is not mentioning another vital point. That of declaring Invincible Australian player out by Umpires when they were out! Australian media sitting at thousand of miles away and watching the proceedings on TV were certainly better judge of light conditions than the Umpires on the field holding those blasted light meters. And how dare Ganguly remain unbeaten? Umpires should have given him out. And also all other Indian players when visibility condition was good. This way Australians would have won hands down! Umpires should have been more sympathetic to poor Australians because they had witnessed pathetic condition Australian bowlers were put to by Harbhajan and Zaheer in the first inning. Poor Australians, what a lowly position they have been reduced to.
Who is the better judge of bad light?By: Amit Bhattacharjie | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 14:34:26 PM Reply | Forward Just who? The batsman who has to spot the maroon ball traveling at a speed of 120 kms/hour or more, the bowler, fielders or the umpire? Its anybody's guess. The batsman is at the receiving end, having to defend his wicket. HE WHO CAN DOES. HE WHO CANNOT CRITICISES. Rightly so with the critics. And none of the spectators wanted the home side to lose. If not a win, a draw was the nest best bet. Guys down under have a history of cribbing just about everything. Wake up guys n dolls, you guys are not and cannot be invincible all the time.
Supporters of sydney robbers are supporting thievesBy: Indi | Tuesday , 14 Oct '08 14:33:59 PM Reply | Forward Robbers are robbers. Be it sydney robbers or there media, they will always support there robbers. Even if aussies had not toured, they would have said, aussies would have won the series had they toured. Aussies hate ganguly for he led from the front to defeat so called invincibles. They also hate bhajji for he single handedly routed them in 2001. They still cannot digest they lost to India. They have once again proved that they are thieves and put blame on others. Indian should play with the same spirit that they showed in perth and kick these aussies out there racists sick mind. Funny obnoxious racists weeds all
