I do sympethisize with the girl but the rules have to be applied in equality if this case has to reach a conclusive end. Lets hope not that this issue is being forcefully covered up or alternatively, a case of blackmail.

Whatever may be the outcome it should be fair trial and not a case of blackmail by the victim's family. Sending incorrect SMS can be dealt with separately but punishing someone with a hard stick for something else that he did not commit would definitely be wrong. The judgement should not be biased because it is the case of a foreigner. The law is same for everyone.

I also do not see any western or Asian country treat Indian victim fairly. Go to nay other country and see how they treat our victims. We are still treating them better than thye treat us. I certainly do not favouring criminals, but system in other country generally do nto pay attention on victim if they are from India.
