UPA govt formula on terror handlingBy: sonia | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 22:53:10 PM Reply | Forward terror attack happenswhile(forever) condemn immediately, point to foreign hand wait for a few days and when safe visit hospitals for photo op blame bjp for communalizing issue increase their own security at the expense of common man’s security give some more speeches get ATS and police to pick up some Hindu Sadhavis’ and army men keep blaming Hindus through media next terror attack }
UPA strategyBy: sonia | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 22:40:35 PM Reply | Forward Sonia and Manmohan's strategy to deal with terror - blame foreign hand immediately (not Congress Hand), after a few months round up some Hindu sadhavis's and army men and blame it on them as Hindu terrorists. Go on with their merry, luxurious, Z security life paid by millions of impoverished Indians.
Stay UnitedBy: RP | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 22:36:37 PM Reply | Forward It's sad to read comments like condemning and accusing PM and government. People should first think about what they have done for their country. Especially in times like these, when everyone should stand united, they're good at blaming others. It's easy do so. I wonder how these people operate in their normal day life, or will perform once they're given the opportunity to lead the country. Don't forget, Manmohan Singh who has been referred as an astute economist, a famous professor, a superb civil servant and a visionary leader, is the one who helped India redeem a significant place in the global economy. He didn't want to be PM that's why he didn't go for election, but obviously, the Congress Party couldn’t find someone better, and chose him because of his breadth of vision, and capacity to lead the country. No one appreciates when things are going right. So, I urge everyone to stay united and do something to help the situation. Go donate blood!
Useless LeadershipBy: Ashok | Friday , 28 Nov '08 1:08:34 AM Reply | Forward You are talking about blame game. What our so called PM has done except blaming Pakistan for every trouble. I will not be surprise, if he blames Pakistan for inflation and poverty in India.
blame oposition and RSSBy: gourav | Friday , 28 Nov '08 0:15:04 AM Reply | Forward but right now, he is the PM and not a Prof.. we are not blaming the Prof, the economist but the PM.. and we did not make him our PM anyways you moron.. or no we should not blame govt. , we should blame the opposition ok
Soft State By: bhavesh | Friday , 28 Nov '08 0:46:47 AM Reply | Forward Everyone is in shocking state. Forget those leaving in India, even those working out also could not eat or sleep. Unfortunately we are helpless with these politicians who don't have enough backing to improve law and order due to dirty politics being played since independence!
Group from outside behind the Mumbai blastsBy: R K Singh | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 22:07:28 PM Reply | Forward Before making new touch laws and not tolerating any further terror attacks, will the Govt please first hang Afzal lest the terrorist take him away in bargain !! It is high time, the Indian voter kicked out inefficient politicians who say (ham dekhenge, hame karna hai) falan falan. Such people should have been in the terrorist's firing line instead of innocent people who had to sacrifice their lives !!!!!!!!!!
Tall talk and nothing moreBy: Vidya | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 20:55:47 PM Reply | Forward How does the PM know from where the terrorists are? And what are the "strongest possible measures?" he has in mind? What has he done in the past other than defer implementation of punishment to a person convicted of helping the attack on the parliament and lose sleep over the arrest of Haneef?
Indian People's Patience is running out. MUST ACT NOW!By: Murthy | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 20:42:59 PM Reply | Forward The Indian Govt's responses for terror acts were totally inadequate. They are even afraid of mentioning the name of country the perpetrators come from or the org they belong. They want to have a permanent seat at UN secuirty council and aspire to be a regional superpower. We all support that aspiration. One thing is clear that no one will recognize you as a super power when you get scared of Pakis, when Singalis don't listen to you, B'Deshis totally ignore you, Malasian's jail people of Indian origin, and so on. Our leaders and bureacrats should have some level of self confidence and self respect to standup for what is right, protect Indian people, ensure NRIs are treated respectfully around the world, at least in the neighbouring countires. How badly we miss Indira Gandhi ? Dr. Singh don't ask for US, UK, or Pakistan's permission (like the BJP Govt did when a hijacked plane was escorted to Afganihtan) to strike at these terror organizations. People's patience is running out
AgencyBy: Agency | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 19:21:02 PM Reply | Forward It is evident that the group which carried out these attacks, based outside the country, had come with the single-minded determination to create havoc in the commercial capital of the country," he said referring to the Mumbai attacks - It is essential to immediately set up a Federal Investigation Agency to go into terrorist crimes of this kind and ensure that the guilty are brought to book
Comments to Dr. G. SrinivasanBy: Donald Victor | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 19:19:58 PM Reply | Forward Dear Dr. G. SrinivasanNow we all should stand with Indian and respect the people and govt. Please avoid politics
Truth is bitterBy: Dr.G.Srinivasan | Friday , 28 Nov '08 5:50:20 AM Reply | Forward The old man whom you are talking about is a non elected PM appointed one .That he stayed for a whole term shying away from being elected shows his lack of regard for elections .He should have either fought an election or resigned from PM post.He has insulted democracy by this .First he should quit and then the whole congress for supporting a non democratic process of appointing a PM.I stand by .This is not democracy.Then why should we spend thousands of crores on election?To have an appointed PM for five years?
MadmohanBy: SSS | Thursday , 27 Nov '08 18:46:59 PM Reply | Forward Dont even feel like reading what this guy has to say ! I guess - he clearly does not understand why we are being attacked. MadMohan has reserved all national resources for Muslims then why are they destroying their own properties... They want more Madmohan, what else do you have ? We have the right only to call Hindus as terrorists, and they have the right to strike terror
