Heidi's 'Ma Kali' avatar leave Hindus fuming

We read from newspapers that they were in India and are well versed in Hindu traditions religion and customs. It is sad that despite knowing about our religion these people have used our customs as a joke. Halloween parties are meant for fun where people dress up in the most horrifying costumes and Goddess Kaali is an avataar of Shakti for destruction of evil. Klum and her event managers have committed a blasphemy and they should apologise to Hindus for hurting the feelings.

If anybody is ridiculing Hinduism today it is the saffron nutters and their half wit followers who have reduced this one of the greatest and oldest method of livings into a mere religion fighting against other religions. The self appointed custodians of my religions should just shut up or divert their shouts towards the thackreys, singhals, modies and togadias who are hell bent upon desecrating my religion in their power grabbing quest.

People dress up as scary witches or other devilish characters. From which angle our Goddess Kali qualifies to be depicted as a Halloween costume? And how come it is an awareness of Hindu religion? If Ms. klum was dressing up as a bhutni or a churayl, that would have been appropriate. And I do care about my religion enough to say what is correct. Why do you not shut up till you develop some respect for your religion and know that talking right about Hindu religion need not put one in the bracket of Hindu fanatic?

Doesn't many people dress ups as Lord Rama, Lord Krishna and other dieties for various plays and dramas. I personally congratulate Heidi Klum for propogating the Hinduism awareness by dressing up as Ma Kali.

Please use your brain before making such stupid comments here.If you really have trust in your religion then remember that it should not be defamed so easily. Atleast she has not defamed the religion as our Hindus did by raping a catholic nun in Orissa.
