Why is Kasab given a chance to hire a lawyer?By: Madhavi | Thursday , 4 Dec '08 18:15:24 PM Reply | Forward After opening fire at CST station and killing so many people ,Kasab gives an explanation that he was shocked over what he did is not acceptable.There is no need for any lawyer to fight a case for him as no proof is required that he is a hard core criminal and only punishment for him is torture till death.If Kasab manages to escape means there is a serious problem in our law and order system.If we have to save our country we have to be very strict and change certain reforms and rules.

I don't see how this is pertinent to the current situation, even though what you said is true in general. I do hope you will do/have done something at least on your part to change what in your opinion is a flawed society. It is easy (and free) to comment on something, difficult to make a difference. Also, there is a fine line between constructive criticism and needless pessimism. The latter achieves nothing, so I hope you aren't doing that.If BJP boasted about India Shining, they were shown the exit. If you don't like the current government's handling of what's going on, vote accordingly. If you don't like any of the current politicians, then try to get involved in what you consider is ideal politics (no sarcasm intended).
