Modi - KarkareBy: Narendra | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 23:17:46 PM Reply | Forward The news can not be believed . The widow of Karkare will be mourning today after funeral and wont think she would give any type statements at this juncture . It is media misinterpretation . Modi infact said that he would give 1cr to Maharashtra Govt for dibursement to the shahids .
Mr Modi should provide security to Gujaratis at lowest taxBy: Jatin Patel | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 23:12:23 PM Reply | Forward Thank You Ms Karkare. The Chief Minister of Gujarat needs to use the money to strenghten the maritime defense to kill those pakistani rascals and Indian muslim rascals.
Departing is a sweet sorrowBy: Syed S.H. | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 23:07:48 PM Reply | Forward It is very sad to learn that Mr. Heman Karkare left us and his dedicated and sincere work remain unaccomplished. He was a very distinguished and very loyal person and we rarely have such personality in millions.. I really salute him and I pray to Almighty to rest his soul in peace and give patience to his wife and children...I have no words to express my feelings for his wife who has shown her Loyalty towards HER Husband character and work by refusing Mr. Modi offer....
Condolences!By: N. S. Rao | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 22:04:35 PM Reply | Forward Condolences! It has been a very sad experience for me, to watch the most efficient police officers (priceless in a country burdened with corruption) of the country lost to mindless violence. Mrs. Karkare has done the right thing by refusing the fund--I think the right fund would be to nurture police officers like Mr. Karkare, but not pay money for the services rendered. This incident should also serve as an example for the citizens to realize the need to force the politicians to enforce reforms in the police, as directed by the Supreme Court. Let us all come together, join hands in bringing change required to nurture police officers like Mr. Karkare. Let his memory be alive through the reflection of his values in the future police force.
hats offBy: Suresh Iyer | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 21:51:47 PM Reply | Forward Modi and Bush are nightmares for terrorists and their sympathisers. To play cheap politics over the dead body of her husband is unbecoming of any decent lady.I think some hidden hands( pseudo secular variety) is playing behind the scene.Probably a bigger offer must have been made to underplay Modi's gesture. The slain officer himself made hay while the going was good and hogged a lot of limelight in screenplay writing of Hindu terror. It is a travesty of fate that he met his end at the hands of the very people whom he tried to whitewash through his investigations. However hats off to his courage in having volunteered to face up to the attackers.
Shameless politiciansBy: An express reader | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 21:50:44 PM Reply | Forward It's very sad to know that our politicians weigh everything on the scale of money. The brave hearted police officers lost their lives for the sake of the country.Their lives were invaluable.Does Narendra Modi thinks that Gujarat government's one crore rupees fill the gap in those martyrs families? Our shameless politicians can not understand the value of those selfless martyrs' sacrifice. Our politicians want to weigh their sacrifice in monetary units, they do not care about their family's sorrow and feelings. Shame on our stone hearted politicians!!!!!
My condolences to the Karkare familyBy: C. Deepa | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 21:42:48 PM Reply | Forward The dignity and self control shown by the Karkare family is inspiring. I would not be able to attend the last rites of my husband in such a dignified, stoic manner. The children's self control was commendable too. They have been put through trauma on an international stage, and they have held their heads high.
KARAKRE FACE OFFBy: D.PATEL | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 21:28:00 PM Reply | Forward I respect Karkare as he died for country but no one should forget that he was very much busyunder pressure of politician to fix Hindus, and As a Head of ATS he was absolutely fail to save Mumbai from terrorist. I dnt understand why Modi has to offer her help. infact it need to go under inquiry that how Terrorist have passage to Mumbasi ..and what all police officer are doing to protect Mumbai. He died as part of his duty but is good he died otherwise he was in jail ..like DG VANJARA of Gujarat
Terror in BombayBy: Ramesh Padmanabhan | Saturday , 29 Nov '08 21:26:45 PM Reply | Forward All the underworld dons are from Bombay. The rumour is that Dawood has given the logistics support for this operation. Time and again the Dawood and Chotta Shakeel have proved the nemiisis for peace and stability in Bombay. We also have Raj Thackery and MNS outfit who beat and kill innocent people. Whenever there is an issue in Bombay the sena's take Bombay for a ride. We have illegal Bangaladesh residents in Bombay and they have not been removed just for the assured vote bank enjoyed by all political parties. The POTA is not implemented by the current Government , just to apease minority for the purpose of vote in the coming election. The terrorist who attaacked the parliament are yet to be punished. We are proving to be weak and meek and we tollerate all aggression against our mother land. To be in power our leaders are not doing anything and are sending message that vested interest across the border can take our country for a ride. Let sense prevail over politics.
Terror in MumbaiBy: Indian | Thursday , 4 Dec '08 10:55:17 AM Reply | Forward Hi friends,Good to see every ones comments.. Well i reall all the comments and i can only make out that there is no difference between you people and those terrorists or currupt politicians. Every one is commenting as an individual and with there views but no one commented as an indian, what u think being an indian. we all born on this same land, we all respect and love our country like a first mother (Bharat Maa). A bullet just kills a life, it will never ask for the name or religion. Wake up guys, stop fighting like dogs on the name of religion. We all are brothers and sisters, even though we follow differnt religion but at the end we praise that almighty, creator, destroyer itself. we are lucky enough to be bron as human and god has blessed us with such an beautiful brain and a b'ful heart with full of emotions. so dont waste such a valuable blessing of god. Start thinking as humans. Aaj unke ghar aag lagi hai, kal hamaari baari bhi hogi. Kab tak doosron ki chita pe apni roti sekoge.
