Whatever it be whether you are a scapegoat or you are yourself incompetent enough, to man the Home portfolio. Only Congressites could produce such jokers and it is not at all in your interest to furtther stick up to your post. You are also, through your inaction bringing shame to the Maharashtrians which has produced great guns like Chintamanrao Deshmukn. Maharashtrians cannot be so servile and have a great tradition of superfine culture.Shameless Laloo now takes pride in criticizing you and you are too weak respond. Please be kind enough to save Maharashtrians and the the country from further devastation.

No point in staying if leadership not with meBy: H Kumar | Tuesday , 16 Sep '08 16:23:22 PM Reply | Forward Patiljee you can not win terrorists by gentle means.People who kill only understand being killed. How was Punjab terrorism tackled .Ask the cops, there were no trials but encounters leading to killing.Government was tough on sikhs. Why so soft on other religion ? You are actually inviting Narendra Modi to be home minister. It will be a welcome change.
Teethless Home Minister of IndiaBy: Rohit Pandita | Tuesday , 16 Sep '08 16:05:06 PM Reply | Forward Even if we bring out Hitler from his grave and make him the home minister of India, he also wont be able to do much. The problem is not with the person who is holding the ministry. The problem is with the process that one has to follow in implementing anything harsh with the terror elements. The home minister will need to have more teeth and over and above that the rights to use those teeth to crush the terror activities in India.
SHIVRAJ JI MUST HAVE BEEN HAMSTRUNG BY PM AND THE COALITION LEADERS because of overconcern with Muslim Vote banks ?By: Paul Krist | Tuesday , 16 Sep '08 16:01:15 PM Reply | Forward Sh. Shivraj Patil as a man deserves to be pitied. It is the PM, the various coalition leaders, especially Karunanidhi, Laloo Yadav, who must have issued general guidelinces to him not to act 'too effectively' with expeditious action using imagination to hound out the terrorists and their organizations. Shivraj ji seems to have still felt it decent to continue in this kind of government environment. He was not very intelligent, was he ?
Coolness, No anger, Cleanliness ... is that the talk in the face of TERRORIST HORRORS REPEATING ? ShameBy: Mano Mohana Krishna Rao | Tuesday , 16 Sep '08 15:54:47 PM Reply | Forward It will be easier for his 'leaders' to let Shri Patilji go, not supporting him in his actions. But does he at all admit that he proved utterly useless and incompetent, given the responsibilities of his ministerial job, when series of serial blasts are taking place unstoppably, taking tolls of innocent peoples, both Hindus and Muslims ? Bottomline is that it is a tough job which calls for a tough guy to be in the seat of Home Minister, who can whiplash his bureacurats if not producing results. His talk of kindness, calmness, solitude, etc. does NOT AT ALL impress the average, hapless Indian in these times of utter chaos, anarchy and uncertainty which Mr Patil and his leaders and colleaguues have brought our great country to.
Thw Witless and His Sartorial Elegance!By: G. Din | Tuesday , 16 Sep '08 15:49:33 PM Reply | Forward This idiot just does not get it, does he? It was not your clothes that you were being criticized for, Fool, but your lack of caring, your lack of good sense which you displayed by worrying about your sartorial elegance when the people were dying around you. Good riddance, Fool! What are you waiting for. A good, hard kick from your equally useless Madam? Soon, pretty soon she will get the boot, too. Leave like Natwar Singh and join some other pseudo-secular outfit like SP or BSP. Incidently, did everyone note the stiff posture of his nominal Chief ManMORON, as stiff as his starched kurta, while he was making the customary visit to the injured in the hospital. Lord God! When shall we be rid of this entire witless crowd!!!
Thw Witless and His Sartorial Elegance!By: R P Haran | Tuesday , 16 Sep '08 15:56:40 PM Reply | Forward You have reproduced the agony and helpness of all the countrymen abaout the utterly incompetent HOme Minister we are burdened with. Like Nero who was playing violin when Rome was burning our own useless Home Minister was dressing not once but thrice when the ordinary citizen / taxpayer was getting blasted and bombed.
Shivaraj patil's resignationBy: ramesh kumar | Tuesday , 16 Sep '08 15:14:20 PM Reply | Forward Shivaraj Patil, not only the leadership not with you, nobody is with you. YOu not in 'much demand'? You are not even in little demand. YOu are as good as garbage! You are a national waste! Get out of Delhi.
Not only politicians but Intelligence By: Sathyam | Tuesday , 16 Sep '08 15:01:48 PM Reply | Forward We all are missing one point which is not less important . Security services ,intelligence services must to do their jo0b irrespective of the party in power. No doubt , the polticians moust own their responsibilkiy and concerned ministers must be forced to resign. But shoulkd no stop at that the security services and intelligence serevice chiefs must be made personally responsible and should be immediately demoted (especially RAW)and more capable people should replace them.Security system must function under all circumstances.
