Secular India in a better perspectiveBy: MMK Rao | Tuesday , 6 Jan '09 9:54:18 AM Reply | Forward Dear friend Anvar, Your statement is true but only partially. At the bottom, Indian psyche is Hindu even if Islam was thrust down the throat by force and Christianity began to be pushed artificially to exploit poverty misusing Constitutional religious rights of expression for conversion.MUSLIM AND CHRISTIAN FRIENDS MUST APPRECIATE THAT THEY ARE A WIE BETTER THAN THEIR COUNTERPARTS OUTSIDE INDIA only because of the immemorial Hindu (Vedic) wisdom that has seeped into their blood stream which is after all Indian, not connected with Allah or Jesus who came artificially. Pls.consider this point dispassionately. If you do, you will appreciate better the fact that we are better people as Indians, who welcome other religions and other ideas even if they are alien, and that we are secular ONLY in that sense.
