Even the ISI plays by the rulesBy: Jayadevan | Friday , 2 Jan '09 3:01:20 AM Reply | Forward The first rule any spy / secret agent learns is that he is totally on his own. If he is caught, he will be disowned by his masters. This is an accepted rule of the game. So even if the Mumbai operation had been orchestrated by the ISI, it is not to be expected that they act like fools. And it is not to be expected that the Indian intelligence agencies will break the rules of the game. Admitted, the ISI and RAW are adversaries, but they also are professionals who have to keep their countries from going to war. Even the KGB, MI6, CIA and KGB had their conduits of information and defused many crises. So the trail ends here.
