One gangster Abu Salem was caught more than a year ago - he has no yet been brought to trial. One person who was brought to trial and convicted - Afzal Guru - is still waiting in suspended animation for his punishment. As long as the government is afraid to do anything that might annoy the Islamists, nothing will change - they cant or wont punish even those that are custody, so why bother getting more people into our jails?Also, how can Pak try these 20 people in their own court when the crime was not committed in Pak? Obviously there is no provision in the law or constitution of any country to try people who have committed illegal acts in some other country - they have to be extradited. So Mr Zardari has shown once again how ignorant he is. Let him put all his energy in catching the people who killed his wife - let India deal with people who are accused of planning crimes in India.
