P.M.'s whining about public support to PoliceBy: V.S.Shastri | Sunday , 23 Nov '08 15:16:24 PM Reply | Forward Merely because some police agencies have lost their brave men in some parts of India does not whitewash the bad things done by their brethern elsewhere.. Let the P.M. note what happened in UK. A security man shot deada suspiciously moving person near their Prime Minister's house, and the Parliamnet condoned this, by 7 large, but when it came to giving additional powere to police to detain suspected terrorists for a longer period without a trial, the Parliament voted out the government's proposal. Government agencies, including the police, have to deserve public support, not demand it.
