Against our Culture!By: Jatin S | Thursday , 9 Jul '09 14:51:59 PM Reply | Forward Nonsense! Those who harp of Indian culture as an argument against the HC judgment are usually those who are highly malleable hypocrites who say one thing and do another. Our culture now is crap that encourages neither merit nor introspection. It certainly is not what it used to be when we were the toast of the world with extraordinary riches. Another point to note is countries who are 'culturally' active constitute most of third world where few 'haves' control most of 'haves not'. The issue here has nothing to do with western culture but is that of freedom and individual choice. Some people were born that way and most certainly are not guilty of that. All in all, our 'culture' has neither made us efficient ,nor punctual, dedicated or committed to our causes. Its time to introspect and we desperately need some one like Swami Vivekananda. This is a minor issue and it should have been done and dusted. There are more important things to look after.
@Amit PurohitBy: Krupa | Thursday , 9 Jul '09 13:50:39 PM Reply | Forward O the great Amit Purohit...Talking about heads and brains!! Irony personified!!! In any case, just for your information, whether I live under the krupa of congress or BJP or any other party is not relevant here.. This article is about SC verdict on gay sex and my point is please stick to this topic if you have anything to contribute. There are other relevant forums where you can regurgitate all your bigoted sick but this is not one of them. There is a whole new and big world beyond just abusing congress/MM/Sonia/anybody who does not agree you all the time.. Have the guts to foray into that.
Congress Govt's. Gift By: Mana | Thursday , 9 Jul '09 13:48:41 PM Reply | Forward Legalization of gay is gift by Congress govt to their Apex leader!!!
Sinking deep downBy: sunil shah | Thursday , 9 Jul '09 13:34:59 PM Reply | Forward It is very shocking that electronic media in India is behaving in a such a stupid manner. Every thing immoral and anti Indian culture is supported by them. It seems all of them only watch, drink, eat and sleep western culture where there is no moral values and no sense of family. Are we trying to convert Indian society into a brothel?? I am sure even if rules are changed by courts or Governments but Indian society at large will not accept such things. We have enough mahatma and Saints guiding Indian people on regular basis so India will never adopt western culture lock, stock and barrel.

Tug of WarBy: Ugly Meru | Thursday , 9 Jul '09 13:10:20 PM Reply | Forward Decision in favour of gay comuunity is just like, an innocent is hanged to death without having legal proof of his innocency,After his death, court says" Sorry, the culprit was someone else !" This decision is the death of Indian culture. Will the court now legalise extra martial relationships too?
beautiful mediaBy: Indian | Thursday , 9 Jul '09 13:10:00 PM Reply | Forward What a beautiful issue for the media to divert attention from the Nation's pressing problems. No hard work just print news without ever venturing out in the country. No wonder we are a third world country.
Justice against NatureBy: Hargian Singh | Thursday , 9 Jul '09 13:06:34 PM Reply | Forward If this judgement is based on few lcks of people then why not court agreed to militants. They are more in number then gays papulation. There are many other communities are struggling for their righties. Why HC
Indian society that will diminish...By: Pandu | Thursday , 9 Jul '09 13:00:54 PM Reply | Forward Legalising one matter to please a few thousand people is surely against the morally abiding Indian Populace. We let this happen once and this community will ask for more rights like Child Adoption. Ungli do to Haat lelenge. We better stay away from this dimakh. The HC Judges certainly won't like Gays to be their neighbours, what happens if his/her child gets into the act. Be Moral and Be Safe. The MEDIA is gone crazy following this and gives more importance to this unethical storm it has created rather than highlighting genuine problems that our common man faces. MEDIA IS HAND IN GLOVE WITH EVENTS THAT MAKE THEM MONEY.
