Government's inactionBy: RD | Tuesday , 2 Dec '08 0:02:27 AM Reply | Forward Let's not take out our anger/frustration on Amitabh B. I understand-desh ke liya,saab ka dil jaal raha hai! Let's be practical. It's the govt. to act and do whatever is needed to be done to stop/preempt such terrorist attacks which are taking place regularly in our country. The politicians are more interested in protecting themselves thru NSG. When are we going to train the police to look after the common man? Terrorism has taken a new form and is the police ready to deal with it? What concrete steps has the Govt. taken since the last terror attack to secure it's citizens? Administrative and police reforms are desparately needed in our country, sooner than later. Unfortunately our politicians go by slogans and instead of blaming anyone else for this tradegy they should come out with a blue print to tackle this menace facing our country. Few resignations to douse the public anger will not do. We need to put our heads together to initiate concrete action and take India forward.

It is time to remember martyrs , to be with their families. I would appreciate if Media cover more stories over the families of national heroes who gave ultimate sacrifice to the nation. It is my request to media and entertainment channels to be little sensible to nation and observe mourning for at least one week and publish things which are crucial and necesary for nation building. We need to educate our children. If you publish news like attract first to the teenagers.
