AccountabilityBy: Suresh Kumar | Monday , 1 Dec '08 10:20:22 AM Reply | Forward Nobody seems to question the capability of COngress President Sonia Gandhi, would she allow her own house to be protected by a weak person, but she allowed the country to be in the hands of a weak Home minister. The party should hold her accountable for this blunder decision.
accountabliityBy: MOHAN DADDIKAR | Monday , 1 Dec '08 10:31:51 AM Reply | Forward Sonia Gandhi is white skinned lady imported from outside and the Indians feel proud to be ruled by whiteskinned people . Besides no congressman is capable of being coming to power without the blessings of Sonia Gandhi. Therefore she is the empress of India and is not acountable to anybody.
accountabilityBy: margazhi mama | Monday , 1 Dec '08 16:59:48 PM Reply | Forward Why only Shivraj Patil is being blamed? What about Home Secretary who got extended tenure till 62 years because he gave first son-in-law membership in Delhi Gold Club?
Shivraj's tenureBy: Aninda Sardar | Monday , 1 Dec '08 10:01:29 AM Reply | Forward Patil, as the article says, is merely a symbol of all that's rotten in the system. While we criticise our system and say that things need to be changed, perhaps the biggest change needs to come from within each of us, each individual at the micro level. We need to stop fussing each time we are frisked, stop asking the traffic cop on his beat what authority he has to stop us from parking in a no parking zone or entering a no entry. Instead we must ask why the top officials and ministers are so prone to faux pas, why are guns always jumped, why did the NSG have to arrive in BEST buses and not their own transport that would be less visible? Most importantly, we, me included, need to come forward and take charge of our own destinies instead of relying on tottering politcians who are well past retirement age. 300 million in the middle class alone. Is it so impossible to find a few hundred genuine leaders from amongst us or are we all going to be followers for the rest of our lives?
Patil the Home manBy: Hughes | Monday , 1 Dec '08 10:01:04 AM Reply | Forward In short this SOB was another corrupt disaster. Good he got the boot.
Mumbai carnage - prosecute the inefficientBy: Vinodkumar P S | Monday , 1 Dec '08 9:56:45 AM Reply | Forward Shivraj Patil, Vilarao Deshmuk, RR Patil should all be tried for culpable homicide for holding such high offices and not performing their duty resulting int the death of so many people. They should be tried for their stupidity in not averting this disaster

Bombay Massacare all heads should rollBy: KUMAR | Monday , 1 Dec '08 9:28:22 AM Reply | Forward It is too late now this man should have resigned long back as he was responsible as the home minister for the secutity of the people. The Congress high commad which selected him and made him as home minister should also take the responsibility for the incidents as every one knows that Shivraj Patil is incompetant and how was he made the home minister of our country which is a very important and sensitive porfolio. The people should not keep quiet they should demand a reply and strict actions for their misdeeds In these four and half years .The people should unite and demand that all the people who were responsible for ignoring the warnings given by the intelligence Dept are punished who ever they might be.
Media should not get carried awayBy: True Indian | Monday , 1 Dec '08 9:25:22 AM Reply | Forward Media should not get carried away with mumbai attack it is temporary distraction and should get its act together in malegaon case. And also try to probe the possibility of sadhvi and purohit's allies involvement in Taj/ Oberoi case. Jai Hind. Bharat mata ki jai, vande matram.
media should not be caried awayBy: Ranganatha | Monday , 1 Dec '08 16:40:29 PM Reply | Forward Have you exchanged your back side for your head True Indian speaks through his backside SOB
TerrorBy: paul | Monday , 1 Dec '08 9:19:26 AM Reply | Forward It has to be seen if the change of guard at home ministry will bring about any change in the security situation. Let us see. I honestly don't beleive that until corruption by the politicians ends this problems will continue.
Good riddanceBy: AJU GEORGE | Monday , 1 Dec '08 9:19:00 AM Reply | Forward Shivraj Patil could cling to the post only because he was the favorite of Sonia. This reveals the commitment of Sonia towards India's internal security. Sonia was more interested that a weak politician who does could not threaten her
