He wanted to make the lives of so many people insecure by inciting religious hatred and violence. He cannot now ask for security. He must live with his own misdeed. It is best to strive for peace and harmony in a manner that accords with Hindu ideals if you want to promote a Hindu state rather than incite violence. Promotion of a Hindu state is not a Hindu ideal anyway. Tolerance is. It is best to give a new image to the BJP as it seems the only alternative government in India. Intolerance will not fly anymore. So, give up this idea of protecting another Gandhi. They will not count in the future of India. The young and the poor will get wise. The BJP must ditch Varun Gandhi and cultivate a new image of tolerance if it is to become a credible force. Leave aside scoring points against people like Mr Chidambaram who could not win his own elections without a shadow of doubt. It wont count in the long run.
