NCP chief Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit Pawar would handle Power portfolio, in addition to t  ....Read more

Peoples party or Dawoods partyBy: Raj | Monday , 9 Nov '09 21:29:40 PM Reply | Forward Who runs the show? Dawood got his set of ministers/puppets. I wonder if he is behind those posts. It ultimately benefits him and his company. Now Dawood and his company will have free run.
R R Patil's selection as Home Minister By: Sharat Jain | Monday , 9 Nov '09 19:31:18 PM Reply | Forward Selection of R R Patil as Home Minister even before the anniversary of 26/11 shows how unmindful the political class has become towards the public security. Then why was he removed as Home Minister in the first place. It looks as if to sooth the public outcry in the immidiate aftermath of 26/11 he was removed and now as public memory is short he has been brought back. Shame on congress and shame on politicians.
Patil's return as HMBy: Ananth Seth | Monday , 9 Nov '09 16:37:48 PM Reply | Forward I thank the voters of Maharashtra and/or EVMs for this! Kya resilience hai!
shame on the electorateBy: viswanathan | Monday , 9 Nov '09 15:19:55 PM Reply | Forward The shame rests squarely on the electorate who elected him . They had no regard for the victims of 26/11. We all know that cong is the most venal and shameless party and so no use blaming them . it is just those voters who have spat on the face of the relatives of the victim and dishonoured those who died. THERE IS NO HOPE FOR JUSTCE IN THIS COUNTRY.
RR Patil By: Varinde | Monday , 9 Nov '09 14:24:57 PM Reply | Forward Swearing-in of Mr. RR Patil as Home Minister of Maharashtra is an insult to people and it appears politicians are bent upon to hurl such insults on people for more 5 years. What are the compulsions behind this action, perhaps only NCP and Congress knows, people don't matter any more. Nevertheless people have to reap what they have sown therefore crying foul won't affect the politicians. Jai ho.
RR PatilBy: Sanjiv | Monday , 9 Nov '09 13:30:29 PM Reply | Forward Mr. Roy is back as GDP. Hassan Gaffoor has been kicked up. Vilasrao got promotion to central council and now RR is back as Home Minister. Hope that the serial dresser Shivraj is also accommodated by some lucrative postings soon. Now the country will celebrate with crocodile tears anniversary of 26/11 and these thick skinned hypocrites will pay tributes to 'martyrs' - people who were slaughtered like street dogs due to their incompetence.
Retrograde StepBy: Satish Haldankar | Monday , 9 Nov '09 12:47:12 PM Reply | Forward Now we are back to bad old days of moral policing. He would try to impose his village morals on the urban centres. Most of the policemen would be deployed to make sure that harmless women employees in bars leave by 9-30 PM. The more serious security concerns would be put on the back burner. God save Maharashtra.
Only R.R. Patil is the honest Politician in whole ministers By: Abhijit A. Patil | Monday , 9 Nov '09 12:42:13 PM Reply | Forward Mr, R.R. Patil is the man who is the honest person in new list of the ministers.ohter people are not present in Assmbly regularly.
Yahoo ! Patil is back.By: Naim Naqvi | Monday , 9 Nov '09 12:28:56 PM Reply | Forward If the public memory is not so weak these gems were dropped from Shree R.R. Patil's succulent lips last year : Patil had said in Hindi: "Aisa nahi hai. Itne bade shahar mein chhota hadsa ho jata hai. To total failure nahi hai. (It is not like that. In big cities like this, small incidents do happen. It's is not a total failure.)" Someone put a defence that he is short of proper Hindi diction. Might be true but we need such broadminded politicians to ameliorate the suffering of mankind especially in a state which is blessed with head quarters of RSS and philanthropist like Thackreys. It%u2019s not strange that his Boss is also preaching in Delhi the virtues of austerity as common commodities for survival are going beyond the reach of a common man. Can we add if our Hindi is not so poor: Aisa nahi hai. Itne bade mulk men sub bhook se mar rahe hon. Kuch log to bhooke har jagah so he jate hain. Nahi nahi yeh mukammal nakami nahen hai. These are the excuses to hide incompetency and corruption.
NO SYMPATHY, they asked for it.By: Boby Mehta | Monday , 9 Nov '09 12:25:30 PM Reply | Forward No sympathy with Marathi manoos, they elected Congress. Marathi manoos deserve Congress.
