Advani to remain By: M.Antony | Thursday , 12 Nov '09 17:55:01 PM Reply | Forward When RSS chief himself categorically reiterated that Mr.Advani's term as the Opposition Leader comes to an end towards end of Jan, 2010, then why Ms.Sushma is misleading the Nation with a wrong information.Of late,It has become customary for the party to issue conflicting messages on an issue.Is it an indication that the party apparatus has been completely buckled under factionalism a prelude to impending disintegration.

I respect Advaani ji, as he is man of his stature and charisma even at the age of 83 years. To me he is the only leader of national identity at all to count in the BJP. All others are with only regional identity like %u201Capne biraadari me uastad pados me anjaan%u201D. So there is no need to make statements on and off to keep him alive in active politics. The debate on his voluntary retirement had come only at the colossal defeat of the party in the last general elections. He would have set an example like any European leader who takes the responsibility for the defeat and quits the post paving way for other to take the reins of the party. He need not resign now as he is only charismatic person in the party if at all to keep the party in tact.

If Sonia Gandhi is a saint in giving up the PM post, Advaniji is a bigger saint compared to her, becuase he didnt have any foreign origin issue, still didn't long for the post of PM when he had a chance.This speaks volumes about his integrity.

As the period after 2004 has demonstrated Advani has strong attachment and hypocrisy in behaviour to posts and issues..Not easy to be comprehended by politicians like Naidu..Lest we forget, Mr Advani meets seers for political advice. He neither listens to his conscience which is related to God nor seeks God's grace. All these loose statements about his quitting posts are not needed. BJP shall amend its constitution and make him the leader of Parliamentary Party. Even now Advani is fit to traverse the country. Advani is useful as he is also meeting all BJP (RSS's political outfit) pracharaks parallely thru his yatras. Mr Advani's advice will be needed by the BJP. As far as sushma's case is concerned, she had been defeated by Sonia in LS election in 2004 so she cannot dare to stay against Sonia t/f, sushma is keeping advani in front. advani's winning lead from Gandhinagar(Guj) reduced to 27000 from 70000. So modi also fears to contest LS election from Gandhinagar. modi knows that LS elections are different than assembly elections in Guj.
