So it is right to praise the true GOD.
Sister AlphonsoBy: S.Madhavan | Sunday , 12 Oct '08 8:52:29 AM Reply | Forward No doubl canonization of Sister Alphonso is an important event.More so for Kerala and the community of catholics in perticular.However Govt. of India is overdoing it by annoouncing the issue of special postage stamps to mark the Sister's centenary next year..Is it to assuage the feelings of catholics who have been shocked by recent attacks on their churches in different parts of the country.By an extension of logic will this secular government honour any Pandit who may be honoured by any Hindu religious head for his contribution to any field of activity or for that matter any Islamic scholar for his contributions-These acts will be termed communal!
