the riot victims who told the the truth inspite of threat and lure are the true muslims and truly secular.By: narayanan | Tuesday , 28 Apr '09 15:37:57 PM Reply | Forward Kudos to the riot victims who have told the truth inspite of threats from rowdies like teesta setalvad. They are the true muslims and the true secular people of india. The pseudo secular media should learn from this and from now on not give importance to hysterical outbursts (however articulate they may be.)and should pursue truth in a dispassionate, thorough and unbiased manner.
Infant stage of JurnalismBy: Vijayandra Singh | Friday , 24 Apr '09 14:42:45 PM Reply | Forward Why this news does not become headline in any news paper, Where is BBC who used to give news like thisA. One community attacked another and killed 100B. Hindu mob attacked and killed 3 MuslimsC. Inter community riots killed 9D. State sponsored police attacked 2 Muslims. This is how BBC reported Gujrat case, BBC says its unknown who set fire in train as its still under investigation.

Hidden Agenda of a Pseudo-secularBy: Richesh Jain | Wednesday , 22 Apr '09 11:05:07 AM Reply | Forward Much was said in earlier comments about this so called Vocal Pseudo-secular, Teesta Javed! Yes Javed not Setalvad!Teesta is no more Setalvad(not either in 2002); she had married one Javed, a Muslim. She is using the Setalvad surname to hide her real identity, of a fanatic neo- converted Muslim! Apparently Setalvad surname makes her more secular than Javed in the eyes of so called secular media. After all the coverage of this Holy Act! of Teesta Javed by the so called Fourth Pillar of Democracy shows the true Secular Tradition of our Courageous Media!

Teesta, Barkha, Arundhati, Mallika, Shabana, Anu and their ilk must be prosecuted for bringing bad name to the whole nation.By: Vikrant | Monday , 20 Apr '09 19:49:03 PM Reply | Forward The Truth was to come, sooner or later. It was clear from beginning that a section of media persons (remember drama queen Barkha Dutt crying) along with some 'social workers' were hand in glove with anti-India forces to create destability in the nation by repeatedly harping on Gujarat riots and creating rift between Hindus and Muslims all over the country. Godhra carnage was a well planned operation which was meticulously followed by riots by these anti-India Islamic and Christian forces. Their target was to bring down NDA govt led by A.B. Vajpayee by antagonising BJP's allies. These anti-India forces identify and then finance guillible journalists, bureaucrats, social workers, writers etc by way of fellowships, scholarships, awards, rewards and jobs. Most of these 'fellows" remain puppets of their foreign masters all their lives and always dance to their tunes. If a comprehensive study is done of the mediapeople who went abroad on any of such fellowships/scholarships, it will be clear that almost all of them are spreading anti-India propaganda. Teesta and Barkha are few examples who would not hesitate to repeat such lies and bring bad name to whole nation if they are assured of dollars and petro-dollars in return. More than Taliban and Maoists, these "aasteen ke saanp" are deadlier for India and its peace-loving people.

Shame on the mediaBy: Mahesh Kunder | Monday , 20 Apr '09 14:22:21 PM Reply | Forward The media is supposed to be biased. I've been reading about this story from various blogs since the last one week. However, surprisingly none of the newspapers os TV channels have highlighted this. Indian Express was supposed to a brave and neutral newspaper, why is this not a front page news?

Inverted News or Biased reportingBy: Anil Kohli | Monday , 20 Apr '09 12:27:25 PM Reply | Forward Dear Mr.Gupta, There is absolutely no need for anyone to read, or remind you about the glorious role of Indian Express. You are held in very high esteem, by your peers and a very wide section of readers in this country. This is one newspaper, I have read since my college days, which go far back into 70's and the emergency period. After reading what you have written "The glorious certainties " and the other Blog "An Unconscionable Act" This has me thinking why did this appear? as a blog, and not as an article or a headline in your paper. "WHAT HAS CHANGED"? Would Mr. Ramnath Goenka or the fearless editor of the emergency period have followed the same path, that the paper has taken this time? Do we now have to train our mind to invert the news as we read or hear on the Electronic media? Is our media impartial? True to its creed ? Do professional ethics matter? How is the average Indian to believe ? What he reads and hears? That goes by the name of NEWS in this country of ours. Incase you do read this, please do try and find time to reply. Thank you
