BY THEIR SILENCE ON THE MATTER APEX COURT HAS PROVED THEY HAVE DIFFERENT FOR OTHERS AND FOR JUDICIAL MEMBERS. THIS HAS DEFINATELY DENTED THE CONFIDENCE GENERAL PUBLIC HAS ON THE APEX COURT.

The controversies surrounding Justice Dinakaran came to the CJI's knowledge quite long back. The collegium has held back his elevation owing to the charges against Justice Dinakaran.When the District Collector has already submitted his report on the land grabbing in TN, there was no need to verify the veracity of the same. The CJI should dispose of this case immediately in the public interest and uphold probity in public life.
