However, this OZ will soon go thru a 'review' that will put him on the streets again. He will gulp down his beer and grin silly.To compare insurance related crime with attempted murder on grounds of race is like comparing apples with pears. By taking the two issues in the same breath would be like when racial attacks occur, only Indians light up the premises to cash on insurance money. Let us not forget, till now the OZ police has been very,very, reluctant to file race related crimes. More reluctant than insurance cheating, I suppose.

A good decisionBy: Roger | Friday , 13 Nov '09 12:57:04 PM Reply | Forward Indeed the judiciary has come up with a good verdict but hopefully the crim doesnt go free in next 1 year or so and his sentence gets commuted because of " good behavior" Insurance anf finance crimes are not a monopoly of indians alone. Other nationalities are also involved in it And it doesnt occur only in Australia. One doesnt have to blame a specific nationality i.e. us Indians for a civil crime. The key point is, physical attacks on indians based on race and prejudice is disgraceful and needs to be punished.

This is on the same day those who attacked an Indian taxi driver in Brisbane Court were not put in jail. One must also realise that there are Indians also involved in crimes in Australia as well. Police on the same day have charged Indian bussines person on arson. There is an allegation that this person burnt his own shop to get insurance. This he did during the height of protests by indians in Melbourne to make it appear a racists attack. All these guilt parties should be put behind the bars for very very very long term.
