Bal Thackeray rubbishes Raj's 'hollow sympathy'

Mumbai, October 1:: Rubbishing Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray's "hollow sympathy" for him over the Lok Sabha's privileges committee summons issue, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Wednesday told his nephew that he need not bother. "We are competent to tackle the case. You should not worry", Thacke  ....Read more

Petty Thackerays!By: Sana | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 16:50:45 PM Reply | Forward Either we find politicians who think their state is the only great state in the country or we find politicians who do not care about their state. The bottomline is that we are all Indians and we should be proud of our country irrespective of which state we come from. And respect each and every individual from every state. It is good to have love for one's state, but not to the extent where the common people are suffering because of all kinds of violence. Being an Indian everybody needs to be treated equally. Nobody is less or more, no matter what religion, caste , man or woman. These politicians seem to forget we are in 21st century and that we need to come out of these petty differences. The British divided us enough, let us not make that mistake again in the name of which state is better and which religious sect is better. Learn from histoy and let India become a great country once again, with equality for everyone. Jai Bharath!!!!
Raj's 'hollow sympathy'By: Indian | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 15:29:50 PM Reply | Forward Raj will burn Maharashtra if the committee went ahead with the summons? He will burn his own state? Please go ahead and spare the rest of India the effort! The intolerant Marathis deserve the treatment that Raj is planning to administer. Thank you Raj!

These are real enemies of India.By: kranti | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 13:53:15 PM Reply | Forward These fake Shivaji bhaktas and so called custodians of Hindus have become positive danger of unity of our country.they have choked all freedom of speechs and broerhood. They are holding emotion of ordinary marathi folks.Government must neutralise these real enemies of country before it is too late.
Thackerays are rubbishBy: real bharatiya | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 13:39:37 PM Reply | Forward by giving such statements, thackerays are not only playing with emotions of marathis but planning to distruct India as a whole. They are challenging the Maha. Govt.
Balasaheb rubbishing Raj's SympathyBy: Wasoo Kamulkar | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 13:11:17 PM Reply | Forward With greatest respect to Shivaji Maharaj - Maharashtrian Hindus owe their existence as HINDUS to him - and Bal Thackeray, one regrets that both have proved unsuccessful in nipping in the bud, the calamitous feuds which destabilised the Maratha Empire. We never seem to learn from the History. They back-stabbed Sambhaji ,who, paid in the same coin; Sooryaji Pisal , back-stabbing Yesubai and Shahoo; catapulted Maharashtra into the Mughal hands; Scindia, who ruled Delhi for six months was back-stabbed by Peshwa from Pune; Balwantrao Natu, back-stabbed Maharashtra by hoisting the Union Jack over Shanwar Wada! The Maharashtrian Olympic torch of feuds and back-stabbing conspiracies lives even to-day. The feud between Balasaheb and Raj is directing the State of Maharashtra now into the ominous hands of the Italian Bahu and her Rahul. There will now, never be a Maharashtrian Raj over Maharashtra. Alas! Both the Shiv Sena and the MNS are dividing the Maharashtrian electorate.
Raj ThakreyBy: NANDA | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 11:58:53 AM Reply | Forward The man who brought up Raj Thakerey and who was responsible for Raj Thakerey s entry into politics Mr Bal Thakrey has given an excellent comment about his nephew so people of Maharastra beware of Raj Thakrey he is doing things for cheap publicity .
SenasBy: yohan | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 11:52:01 AM Reply | Forward well done mr thackeray. one cannot understand how an individual with his goons can challenge the entire nation for a ride, the courts, the parliamentary system, the state govt, the governor, the police officials, citizens of other states, the military, the CM, the HM and the list goes on. is there no justice in this country. despite court reprimanding him making outbursts at rallies, he continues to travel across the state (he does not have guts to step outside his state perimeter). the courts that takes suo moto petitions if a common citizen is involved are not dared to take any action against Raj Thackeray. it seems raj wanted to be next CM and hence he wanted to pull some more of shiv sena members to his side. hence his love for Bal Thackeray now. by the way, where is udhav nowadays? is he outside the country or hiding due to the tirades of Raj.
The Idea that is IndiaBy: KVSKumar | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 11:46:29 AM Reply | Forward Now if the Parliamentary Committee buckles and defers their resolve, citizens of this country would have no respect left for the entire parliamentary and legislative system of this country. Any person or institution without self-respect need to be sympathised at and not respected. Raj should not assume to be the sole leader and champion of Maharashtra and he should not dream of Maharashtra flourishing when India collapses. His talk is akin to that of a separatist. It is the duly of every pillar of our nation, Judiciary, Executive and Parliament, to take suo motto action against those uttering in such intemperate language. If one is to take the words of Mahatma Gandhi, A WOUND ON THE BODY OF PERSON BY SWORD WILL BE HEALED OVER A PERIOD A TIME; BUT NOT A WOUND IN THE MIND CREATED BY WORD. So Afzal Guru only attacked the Parliament Building with bulletts but this Raj is questioning the very essance and authority of Parliament. Who can be pardoned? I will say neither
