The main grouse for the BSF personnel is that despite having their own Officer cadre the top posts in BSF are being grabbed by the IPS who despite being outsiders are calling the shots in BSF. In fact, the same story gets repeated in most of the CPMFs and CPOs where the cadre Officers do not get to reach the pinnacle of the organisation they serve in. The service conditions in Army and the CPMFs can not be compared as the terms and conditions of service are entirely different.
IndiaBy: KRISHNA | Tuesday , 3 Mar '09 11:24:31 AM Reply | Forward I hope the conditions will improve far better if our politicians, beurocrats and senior colleagues of respected security forces should take a leaf out of our neighbours experience and work towards the betterment of job as well as living conditions of our security personal who are involved in country's internal as well as external security. They should be given enough oppurtunities, encouragement and monitory benefits. It always helps if we can lend our time to hear their problems and try to solve it avaoding red tapism. The best example of growing resentement was demonstared by our retired officers bymeans of returning their seva medals to the Govt.of India, which were given to them for their service to the country.I think the time has come to address their long standing issues with more sincerety and honesty. Else we have to meet the same fate one day.Jai Ho!Jai Hind !
