Reddy brothersBy: Bhaskar Kolnad | Monday , 9 Nov '09 11:38:13 AM Reply | Forward Edyurappa has earned good name in the state certainly for his past performance as deputy Cheif Minister under HD Kumaraswamy as well as Cheif Minister for the last one plus year.Asking for changing of cheif Minister is unwarranted.Reddy brothers got some 50 plus MLAs in this revolt should be probed by the party.Credibility of those MLAs who joined Reddy faction including Shettar who spoiled the party's image.In the interest of BJP ,Reddys should be asked to go to Andra Pradesh and build party base over there.The party can offer him party Cheif Ministership of Andrapradesh .Later stage if and when BJP comes to power at the centre he can made a Deputy Prime Minister representing the whole of south India.

I agree with RajeshBy: Arun | Monday , 9 Nov '09 11:09:44 AM Reply | Forward I agree that the root cause is the weak leadership. I do agree that Advani is to blame for this weakness. Advani has simply been betrayed by his colleagues. Though I do not understand how BJP can still tolerate Rajnath Singh who is unimpressive leader who does not have any effective presence beyond UP. Even in UP there are many stalwarts in the party who are willing to pull him down. The best action for BJP would be for it's CM to submit his resignation along with his cabinet. But Kursi is too important even for a BJP leader. This is the weakness that has been exploited by arrogant Reddys. Mr Yeddiyurappa, show them their place, show them that you and your party is different and submit your resignation. You will rise in the eyes of public and not other way round. Today we all believe that you and your party colleagues want to stick to the chair COME WHAT MAY.

It is a matter of time that the crisis will raise its ugly head. The BJP is trying to cure the disease by treating the symptoms and not getting to the root cause of the problem. The root cause is a weak and confused leadership in general and that of Rajnath Singh and L K ADVANI in particular. Leaders who presided over the debacle in the Lok sabha elections and the State elections in Haryana and Maharashtra cannot commend respect. The first thing for revival is for Rajnath and Advani to call it a day. Altrnatively, pas into oblivion from National Politics.
