A proactive India.By: Pranav Mahajan | Monday , 22 Dec '08 13:19:22 PM Reply | Forward Though there is a lot of talk of India emerging as a strong power in the world but the impression that our establishment repeatedly sends to the international community, more often than not, points otherwise. One of the most critical characteristic associated with any power is the high degree of self confidence. It is often seen to be missing in India's case. New Delhi needs to be more proactive and vocal about the various international happenings, more so when they are taking place in our neighborhood. India must take the unfolding of these events quite seriously and, before it is too late, should counter it effectively.
