Tata MotorsBy: Mark | Wednesday , 1 Oct '08 1:41:00 AM Reply | Forward Being from the USA and a supporter of Tata Motors I have to say I think the congress and the opposition should realize that there are plenty of out of work people in the USA who would find it hypocritical for the Tatas to have to give one inch. The government made an offer, Tata accepted and the government failed to deliver on its promise. I think they should move somewhere where they are appreciated for job creation and sue the government of West Bengal for breach of contract. Ratan Tata said if they don't want us here then we should leave. All this has cost me 30% on my modest investment in a good company, but I'd rather them go somewhere else even if I lose 20% more. West Bengal doesn't deserve the jobs offered at this point. Someone else will appreciate the job creation more. Tata pays more benefits to employees than many manufacturing companies in the US. Good jobs or bad goverment, which do you prefer.
