NEGLECTING DUTIES AND SEEK FOR PEACEBy: T.V. SOMAN | Monday , 1 Dec '08 19:53:00 PM Reply | Forward THE GOVT WAS WAITING FOR THE PEOPLE TO BE MURDERED TO IMPLEMENT SAFETY MEASURES. KEEP ON GIVING PLEASURE AND SATISFACTION TO ANTI-NATIONALS. TAKE OUT PROFESSIONAL WRONG-DOING BEINGS FROM THE MINISTRY. HOW COME SHRI PATIL BAD MIISTER NOW? HE ONLY CAN EXPLAIN HIS OWN SUFFERINGS IN THE MINISTRY. WERE THINK-TANK MINISTERS SLEEPING FOR SO LONG, SHAME OF YOU! MISTAKE CAN FORGIVE, BUT NEGLIGENCE NEVER, SIRS.keep on saying, " I CONDEMN THIS TERROR ATTACK" "WE WILL TAKE STRONG ACTION"
Remove Black Cats from "Protecting" PoliticansBy: Vox Populi | Monday , 1 Dec '08 15:31:40 PM Reply | Forward It is time that security cover for all and sundry politicians/officials is removed. The so-called Z-level security should be provided only to the really critical levels of Indian leadership who are, say, in the top 7 levels in the Indian Order of Precedence. I do not see any logic, much less a justification, for providing private security at public cost to so-called public servants. If anyone feels threatened let him go to the police and complain or get his own security. Why should the State provide for a politician's private securiy? Is he a more equal citizen than others? Besides, this will result in many tangible benefits. More NSG personnel will become available for protecting ordinary citizens. Without the automatic safety of Black Cats around them, politicians will become more responsible in their utterances (for example, a Raj Thackeray will be better behaved). Without their personal security, politicians will seriously get down to really establishing a better policing set-up.
NSG for main citiesBy: Varghese Joseph | Monday , 1 Dec '08 13:34:35 PM Reply | Forward Its nice to have NSG located in main cities. I would suggest that immediately an air wing should also be sanctioned for NSG exclusively. As for the hotel security is concerned each hotel must be provided security for outdoor monitoring by the local police including the back side of each hotels and for the customers their baggage should be screened and scanned at the main entrance by the hotel staffs.Definitely thats going to cost a lot, but nobody could afford to compromise on the security aspects.
Emergency required in IndiaBy: Harold D'cunha | Monday , 1 Dec '08 13:30:21 PM Reply | Forward Good measure. Even this hour of War Zone sad but true the Oppositon party leader didnot attend all party meeting .If required let PM declare Indian Emergency for infinite period until our society feels they can live in secuity and peace not forgetting to teach our enemies by crushing their roots itself. Jai Hind.
More messBy: Raju Solomon | Monday , 1 Dec '08 13:18:53 PM Reply | Forward Govt only is giving the police more opportunities to earn/fleece money of poor sailors, there is no use of bringing in "third tier of costal security" just strengthen the first tier Navy , Army and airforce because anyway when the crisis comes in the police is nowhere to be seen except for the ATS(atleast in this case). Congress messed up for 50 years it still continues. BJP can brag whatever they want but the fact remains that during BJP's reign our brave soldiers were killed by guess who - Bangladesh's army and carried like dogs and we did nothing ... Stop bureaucracy save india
National security for allBy: Gaurav Chakraborty | Monday , 1 Dec '08 13:08:27 PM Reply | Forward I hope atleast one of the 6 NSG groups mentioned above is assigned to North East India (in either Guwahati, or Shillong). The situation and ignorace on the eastern borders of India is pathetic.

Re: Be carefulBy: Avinash Baranwal | Monday , 1 Dec '08 12:55:35 PM Reply | Forward I also feel the same Mr. Rao.We also should check assets of all the big post holders and politicians to check the control on corruption.Without any internal hand, i do not think any one would do any harm to us
