Death toll rises to 32 in Guj hooch tragedy

Can the local police claim ignorence of its existance? Are they (police) not partners in the crime? But then, this is not the the first liquer tragedy and nor it will be the last-- unless the police and bootleggers are punished- strictly and swiftly, an unlikely even in India. And afterall, those who died are poor workers, remembered only at the time of election.
