Delhi set to get 2nd largest airport terminalBy: Deepak Nagar | Monday , 10 Nov '08 13:30:20 PM Reply | Forward Hi Prabhakar,India is no-where as far airports are concerned!! We simply talk high. China does it but do not boast. Actions must speak louder than words. I have been working in China for the last 8 years and can not be fooled by such "overstatements". Go and see airports in Asia at Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lampur, Bangkok, Shanghai
Delhi airportBy: J .CHACKO | Sunday , 9 Nov '08 20:49:58 PM Reply | Forward Come on ! This is too much!!!Anyone who has not travelled internationally will think that what we have now in India and in future is world class!!!We are nowhere now.We have the worst airports and related services in the world even if you take not only developed nations even most of the developing countries. This is the fact not only related to airports but also considering all infrastructure works and tourist related sercices..I have travelled and visited international airports all over the world than perhaps Mr Rao himself to know these facts.First let us have a good airport and then we can start boasting.
What about Public Convenience?By: AKM | Sunday , 9 Nov '08 15:11:44 PM Reply | Forward Whenever I visit India (which is on average once every two years), the one thing that I find extremely frustrating and get embarrassed about are public toilets. I can only hope DIAL has taken into consideration this basic human need and made provision for it. I may as well add that just building toilets is not enough. They need to be maintained, so as they are clean and usable. Maybe there is a case for appointing a full time sanitation manager who is in charge of this and can be held accountable for any inconvenience caused as a result of 'public conveniences'!
