Will VP Ansari ask the leaders of Harijans, scheduled tribes and castes, and the hundreds of Shudra castes to do the same thins: THAT IS GO FOR EQUITY AND DO NOT ASK FOR CONCESSIONS. But unfortunately it was the same old wine distilled by pro-Sarkari Musalman VIPs through out ages but in a new bottle. Imagine the year was 1958( 50 years back) and assume that Mr Ansari was not a Muslim but a Dalit leader and he made statement asking Dalits not to ask concessions. Had the State and central Govts. listened to this Dalit leader and implemented his vision, we could have seen in 2008, the 5% forward castes in India holding to 90% of the Super Grade posts and Division one and Division two jobs and the Dalits and the Shudras would have remained as the peons, cleaners, drivers, scavengers, clerks and elementary school teachers. But look at their progress particularly in Southern States because of the cultural revolution brought by leaders like EVR. You find the Dalits and the Shudras effectively competing in all spheres.

At the time of unwanted enmity with Hindus, the advise of Mr. Hamid Ansari, Vice-President of India asking Muslims to seek equity, not concessions from government, is very appropriate. If Muslims are try to understand their problems and act according to or follow the advise/suggestions of the elders or in responsible positions will definitely yield fruit and India will grow up with non-violence.
