China cant be ignored because it is political capitalBy: santosh.valipe | Tuesday , 21 Oct '08 0:45:35 AM Reply | Forward Great article. The 2nd largest economy in the world (japan) cant be compared with China because china is nothing compared with Japan economically atleast today. The political capital of Asia is China because it has a big well trained army and a very big country with communism which makes it a regional hegemone. We have to deal with China in all ways and we can afford to ignore pakistan but we cant afford to ignore China. Japan even gave lot of aid to China, Nevertheless it has been the no.1 FDI for China and responsible for the china boom.
Japan's later aid to China was insignifant compared with what Japan did to China in the 1930sBy: Sharad Bagchi | Wednesday , 22 Oct '08 2:42:51 AM Reply | Forward Japan invaded China during the 1930s, tortured 300,000 Chinese civilians to death in the city of Nanking alone, destroyed many Chinese cities and infrastruture, Japan's 731 Unit conducted horrifying biological experiments towards many Chinese civilians, vivisecting human beings without anesthesia... Japan's later aid to China was totally insignificant compared with what Japan burned and destroyed in China during 1930s. and I heard some people said during the 1970s, Japan 'aided' China with inferior products and benefited from business contracts with China.
