Ms Pandith 's appointmentBy: Dr. Paras Deo | Thursday , 2 Jul '09 18:34:27 PM Reply | Forward I am glad Ms. Pandith sees herself as 'somebody of Indian heritage' and not fristly as a Muslim...makes a lot of difference. The Govt of India should realise that we in Europe (Germany for e.g.) too see ourselves as people of Indian heritage, unfortunately we are considered only as PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) and not as OIC (Overseas indian Cititens). The GOI should find ways to allow us to get OIC status or allow normal dual citizenship like Canada, US, Switzerland and UK allows.
