ONLY ONE SOLUTIONBy: Ajay | Tuesday , 2 Dec '08 18:14:47 PM Reply | Forward Lets not discuss much on this. Do we have suficient technology to identify training camps in POK or Pakistan or afghanistan? Answer : Yes.. Then what are we waiting for? more condolences from international community? more sympathies? or Do some elements in our own system want to give suficient time to these terror conductors to escape? And If we are not getting agressive then there has to be enough reason which should be shared with the indian people. So in Simple words Make no delay.............ATTACK.COME WHAT MAY...
No actionable input to prevent Mumbai terror:By: Syed | Tuesday , 2 Dec '08 17:17:58 PM Reply | Forward You are one of the MOST favorite newspaper of Indians. PLEASE PLEASE investigate to find our whether Hindutva parties have hired them to change the election scenario in our country. We (Indians) are very sure that those militants were hired by Hindutva parties to kill the HONEST OFFICERS like Karkare, Kamta and Salaskar.
Attacks in IndiaBy: Gabriel Pena | Tuesday , 2 Dec '08 5:14:46 AM Reply | Forward I just saw on ABC News (US) the latest about the attacks. Apparently the FBI had warned their Indian counterparts about the pending attacks in October and November.Simply incredible
condemnation By: basit hussain | Tuesday , 2 Dec '08 4:08:08 AM Reply | Forward The nature of threat in todays world has changed. Countries like India need to spend a part of their defence budget in addrssing terrorism, THis would include a robust but sensitive security, honest diplomacy , addressing the concerns of minorities and above all avoiding politicising this issue of terrorism. This may mean a loss of contracts for some western arms exporters but we need to spend at least 30% of our defence budget in modernising and improving security and another 20% of defence budget in social upliftment. Only then can we defeat designs of the likes of lashkar and jaish. It is foolish to expect that others will do our dirty work. It is upto Indian government to do this. And it is upto people of india to reject devisive politics and jingoism of advanis, modis and geelanis. Advani speaking in support of a terrorist was appaling and needs as much condemnation as geelani praising lashkar. NO TO DIVISION YES TO SMART SOLUTIONS
More patrol on sea and land borderBy: Sivaraman Narayanan | Tuesday , 2 Dec '08 2:19:23 AM Reply | Forward securing our border is a better solution than asking pakistani govt to fix terror camps in pakistanies. We all know that they are out of their control.
FBI's AssessmentBy: Hughes | Tuesday , 2 Dec '08 0:20:28 AM Reply | Forward True, Zardari is possibly not so heinous as your ISI is. But in order for India to stop terrorism, India should blast all ISI sponsored, terror camps, LET camps and internally Pakistan should become a economic state. It is more of a milirary and terror ridden and terror exporting state than anything worthwhile.

Kill the terroristsBy: Praveen | Monday , 1 Dec '08 22:54:46 PM Reply | Forward Agreed LeT is as much a problem for Pakistan as for India. History has proven Pakistan has absolutely no control over the terrorist elements. There are serious questions about Pakistan's capability and intention to act against these forces. India MUST take steps to handle this crisis on its own. And let us prove that the nuclear blackmail is just that. Its a "I-die-you-die situation" and we can not let that come in the way of killing the terrorists and destroying their infrastructure. What use is our forces and nuclear capability if we are not willing to use it to protect ourselves?Punch the softies. Kill the terrorists in their homes.
Dont believe pak's civilian gov. words, they're clearly behind itBy: Sarath | Monday , 1 Dec '08 22:42:49 PM Reply | Forward This is work of all groups in Pak, civilian government, ISI and pak army and Lashkar all together jointly doing, and at the same time isolating themselves and they don't want to take responsibility, so indian gov. shouldn't believe Jardari or some tom dick and harry's words. If any proofs of Pak citizen or terrorist, its indian gov. responsibility to protect their citizens. India shouldn't think that terrorist groups in pak but no involvement of civilian gov. Their ploy is india should succumb to Laskhar and isi pressuure, and india has to beg pak's civiliar gov. to offer whole kashmir and paks gov is the mediator? what a such foolish plan. If Congress is ruling party their ploy may work. unfortuanately every 5 years party will change in india. so they cant fool entire india and world. I thiink for this type of micky mouse games, one day Pak is going to become burial ground only because of their religious fantacism and their puppet to China and saudi arabia.
