affirmative action? ok but with a riderBy: samer chandorkar | Saturday , 6 Jun '09 13:43:18 PM Reply | Forward for the first time after may be 4 to five elections the people of this country have firmly rejected the dangerous machinations of casteist and goonda politicians. please for god's sake donot rake up the issue ofreservation again. instead create a compulsory fund in this country to which each and every person above a particular income group has to contibute. even an ordinace can be passed to this effect. give opportunities to poor and downtrodden at school level, assist them financially and socially. then screen the ones who really do good and help. they wont need reservation.or otherwise a rule that all proponents of reservation should be treated by only those who have benifited by affirmative action should be in place.

I left India disgusted by quotas. after another 100 years quotas will go on unless so called forward castes unite and fight to end all quotas. with women quota the only group left out is males from so called Hindu forward castes
