Hayden repeats ‘India a third world country’

From our squaler to the animals on our streets. From our lack of drinking waters/ electricity even in the cities to the propensity of our rural population and a large section of our urban population also to defacate in the open - India is out and out a third world country. Those gleaming sky scrappers and those shiny malls notwithstanding.

The best thing is just to ignore their comments. Atleast the Indian Press should do that. One by one these Aussies are uttering non-sense statements and we are simply wasting our time commenting on that. Better we put a full stop to that. But one appeal to all these Australian Players. HaydenBy: Dr. Ash Sood | Friday , 21 Nov '08 18:17:52 PM Reply | Forward I respect Methew Haydens view as a indivisual and we should acknowledge the respect he has for our country.India is indeed left to be a 'third world' country in economic sense by the people who plundered its wealth for centuries (iam sure mathew reads the history) but India is still miles ahead than the @first world' as far as moral and cultural vales are concerned.Except for the criminals and politicians all Indians are ready to give their last piece of bread to their guests smilingly and be proud about that.

It will help separate emotions from rationality! It has acquired connotations of backwardness over time, but if that is true then there must be facts to support that conception. Cause for reflection and not a knee-jerk reaction.
