China must acknowledge By: Tenzing | Sunday , 8 Nov '09 10:46:41 AM Reply | Forward It is indeed an irony on the part of China to raise serious objections to Indian Prime Minister ManMohan Singh visit to Arunachal Pradesh, let alone to The Dalai Lama's visit to the state; as this new article clearly states in black & white that it was from Arunachal Pradesh in 1959 when the Dalai Lama first stepped foot on escaping from Tibet - his homeland country. This news article clearly shows, the history of two neighboring nations - India & Tibet. The two countries have a history of peaceful & friendly neighborhood relationship, until the communist Chinese occupied Tibet with force & brutality. As a result China invaded India through Arunachal Pradesh and occupied part of the land in 1962. They created an issue of the Border Line that originally sets the border of Tibet and India; and has been persistently demanding for its revocation - with the sole intention of wiping out the important history of two neighborhood countries - India & Tibet.

Now can India organise to show that Tawang and its gaiety on Chinese TV? That will be the first step towards success in the matter of resolving the McMohan Line.
