New Delhi: India is wary of Chinese designs to establish strategic link-up with Pakistan in parts of Jammu and Kashmir under occupation by both the countries, saying this could have direct military implications. The Defence Ministry's Annual Report for 2008-09 tabled in Rajya Sabha recently noted with con  ....Read more

India will continuw to suffer until a true nationalist takes full control...By: Raman | Thursday , 16 Jul '09 1:05:17 AM Reply | Forward India's biggest problem vote bank politics by Congress and the infection of this disease to other parties. If China attacks India, India will loose territory, lives of many brave soldiers but corrupt, incompetent, castiest traitors still continue to rule India with protection given by brave Jawans. What price did Nehru pay after India's defeat at the hands of China because of his idiotic policies? He was awarded Bharat Ratna and the country was enslaved to his family. What happened to India after India won against Pak..? Nothing, POK was not released, terrorism didn't stop but Indira got Bharat Ratna. Since there are no consequences for Congress politicians in a war, India will continue to suffer until a real nationalist becomes its leader. We missed such chance when Sardar Patel was denied to become PM, when Subash Bose was made to resign as Congress president by Gandhi and his cronies and the latest, when LK Advani was depicted as danger to the country by the media traitors.
India wary of Sino-Pak conspiracy!!By: T.Bose.(Flt.Lt.-IAF.Retd.) | Monday , 13 Jul '09 16:19:18 PM Reply | Forward I was serving in the IAF in 1962 when China launched a SURPRISE ATTACK against India! We were "caught with our pants down"!! Since that time, the DOUBLE-DEALING Pakis have conspired with the Chinese. The adage,"your enemy's enemy is your friend has been followed to the letter by both the Pakis
Wariness----By: romesh.sharma | Monday , 13 Jul '09 12:55:29 PM Reply | Forward I wish India would have been much warier and taken every realistic or imagined threat seriously which would have forced Indian politicians to develop, acquire and purchase all Denfence requirements to the best standards. There shouldn't be hesitation of costs for looking for cheaper deals means unwanted delays to make deals and deliveries and ofcourse the supplied weapons are unreliable. Its disgusting to learn when they (both military and politicians)claim loud that the situation is calm, insurgency has lowered and incursions in our territory were just mistake and so on.Our borders were never peaceful and there had been constant danger.Chinese and Pak policy is not of combative passions but malevolent and treaberous, deceive in order to destroy.India shouldn't trust anything that comes from there to safeguard its interests. They are most inexpiable while Indian politicians are too susceptibles, the weakness leading to inert and idle characters with habit of importunity.Wary but not to worry
We should encourage separatism in ChinaBy: arun thakur | Monday , 13 Jul '09 10:58:46 AM Reply | Forward As a democracy, we should give "moral support" to pro-democracy and autonomy movements within China. In this regard, we should also collaborate with China's neighbors, especially those touching Xinjiang and Tibet, such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal and Bhutan. We should also be friendly with Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and US.this is the way we can give rite answer to China
PAKISTAN CHINA NEXUSBy: Aneek Chakrabarty | Monday , 13 Jul '09 9:18:29 AM Reply | Forward It is unfortunate to see that, what China did in 1962, after this Hindi-Chini bullshit, India still believes China. The enemy is sitting at the door and our country thinks, that China can be trusted. There cannot be anything more diplorable, disgusting and discouraging than this.If this is the state of affairs, may be, we may not see, but our children will see that, there is no country named India in the map of the world. Is that, what our future generation deserves? certainly not. Their defense expenditure is growing by leaps and bounds, and I read in too many news items that, our armed forces are ill-equipped, and I hear it, over and over again. Dr. Singh, please do something for our future generations. Unfortunately, we are a nation, circled by enemies, and there is a thought, reported in today's paper, that China may attack India by 2012. What are we doing to prevent it. The british ruled us for 200 years. Are we looking for a Chinese domination in the future. God, help India.
Peace for IndiaBy: Jay | Monday , 13 Jul '09 8:48:35 AM Reply | Forward India will find peace once it withdraws its colonial forces from Kashmir and gives well-deserved independence to the Kashmiri people. The West is currently grooming India as a counterweight to growing Chinese influence, but they will never engage militarily with China to protect India.
Indian politicos are still shadow boxingBy: Scaria Varghese | Monday , 13 Jul '09 7:00:15 AM Reply | Forward India hasn’t learned from the bitter lessons of 1962 and the politicos are still shadow boxing-sparring the arch the enemy, China, with a kid glove.China has been splurging on military capabilities far beyond her adequate requirements to defend herself. Her aim: World domination. She has been flexing her mussels and testing the waters-shooting down of one of her satellite from the firmament, Chinese Navy’s aggressive manoeuvres at sea; harassing the US surveillance ship Impeccable near the Hainan Island; regular incursions into the border with Indian state Arunachal Pradesh; acquiring a string of naval facilities around India and so on. Ignoring these warning signs will be India’s on peril. Time has come for India to wake up from the slumber and eschew the repetitive tune of Hindi-Chini bhai-bhai that was concealed in deception. Notwithstanding the tune concealed in deception, that yesteryear’s tune isn’t mellifluous to any patriotic Indians, except the Indian commies, who are subservient to their master-China. Stop shadow boxing and treat China as a potential enemy.
Homland SecurityBy: Giri Girishankar | Monday , 13 Jul '09 4:48:22 AM Reply | Forward This is a continuation of my previous comment. The connectivity between Pakistan and China should also be seen in the context of the domestic security. Sleeper cells exist inside the country that are in contact with the LeT jihadists in Pakistan and enable terrorist attacks on Indian soil. The Moists in eastern India get their weapons smuggled into India, presumably from Chinese sources. There are also reports of Chinese help to the militants in the Northeast. These surreptitious activities of the vicious neighbors are as much a concern for India's homeland security as their military activities on the international borders for national security. India's image as a regional power, in spite of its economic and social development, will not be taken seriously by these two countries if its homeland security is not rock solid. The first order of priority should be to go after the Moist militants and the LeT sponsored sleeper cells and destroy them completely.
Importance of Acting StrategicallyBy: Giri Girishankar | Monday , 13 Jul '09 3:18:13 AM Reply | Forward China's "enhancing connectivity with Pakistan through the territory in Jammu and Kashmir, illegally occupied" by both these nations comes as no surprise as the situation with these neighbors has been the same for a good number of years. Given the right equipment, India's armed forces can be relied upon to do their best under the most difficult circumstances. But one cannot be sure of the same with the country's politicians and bureaucrats, known for their bickerings and corruption. Annual Parliament Report is one thing; it is quite another matter to use that to develop the required strategies and build the formidable defense forces necessary to demonstrate to these neighbors that India's borders will not be compromised as in the past.India has to show its drive and determination to expeditiously convert its plans into solid fighting units. It cannot be just admiring the Chinese for their economic progress and acquisition of strategic weapons. Say we can do it and do it.
