Cricketers should learn and respect each others cultureBy: Rajesh Srivastava | Wednesday , 19 Nov '08 14:56:25 PM Reply | Forward What these cricketers need to learn is to respect others culture. What maybe casual for Ponting and his team maybe offensive for others. Same thing with Indians. Monkey may not be racist for Indians but it can be for Austrailians. So not just players but umpires and match refree should also learn and respeect each others culture. Broad may have congratulated Ponting but in place of Broad if Sreenath would have been refree then he (ponting) would have not received the same gesture.SO bottom line is all players, umpires and refrees should learn and respect the culture.

replyBy: Neems | Wednesday , 19 Nov '08 15:47:07 PM Reply | Forward u are wrong If an Indian would have been a referee . he would have still shook hands with a white man first . very few Indians display dignity and self pride . It is in the same manner your comments meant to show a white man should be respected and also monkey is not a racial word amongst any westerners who are used to filthy language in their everyday life.It is not a question of we Indians respecting he white culture. WE shouldn't be stooping so much downwards that we might break our backs. Have respect and dignity Indians for your country.
Ponting is a foolBy: Md. Yazed Alam Khan | Wednesday , 19 Nov '08 13:17:58 PM Reply | Forward This reflects you attitude problem Mr. Ponting! You all whites think that the subcontinent is down uder enough and can be easily beaten anyway without playing the real game. Why don't you think twice that your parent game has been mastered much more that youir country's snickers.Hey Ponting...accept the defeat in a sporting manner or else you stand no chance of winning even a game devised to be played only for 5 overs!
