Will Indian and Sri Lankan Govts., constitute as major negotiating parties to solve the problem of LTTE and Tamil Elam? No, because the Jaffna Tamils are and must be an equal and important partner in any talks. The same way what is the point of India and Pakistan negotiating and coming to an agreement without the people whose destiny they talk about. Assuming, for argument, India agrees to Pakistan annexing the entire valley, but the people of the valley are against this because they prefer to be part of Indian Union rather than with the unstable Pakistan? What happens then. So please give the major and significant role to the people of Kashmir in any negotiations, both India and Pakistan are junior partners in the dispute and the major and vital party are the Kashmir people. Without their participation any negotiation is sure to fail.
