Instead being with the people .... by BardhanBy: M Krishnamachary | Monday , 29 Jun '09 12:24:46 PM Reply | Forward West Bengal is under communist rule for so long that people suppose that no other party ruled there at all. And what progress has the CPM(M) achieved there in this long rule? About Mr. Bardhan's views about Maoists. Just so many words without any meaning. Why indoctrinate adivasis who do know not to read and write. To alienate them against the Indian state? The intelligentia that is the real driving force of Indian economy and democracy is not convinced if the Communists are patriots at all. Why did the Communist junta oppose our alliance with USA, the best of progressive and democratic countries, in matters of infrastructure. They withdrew support to the UPA. If one day the Communist China invades the democratic India , our communist junta will remain mute spectators. I think so. It is time that we not only demolish Maoists, but outlaw all communist ourfits. We are not Nepal.
