Chennai: Home Minister P Chidambaram on Monday demanded that Pakistan interrogate JuD chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed for the Mumbai terror attacks as all the evidence against him was on its soil. Security begins at homeBy: K.Vijayakumar | Tuesday , 22 Sep '09 2:55:36 AM Reply | Forward Mr.Chidambaram has been talking too much. From what the Home Minister has been saying almost every day, it would seem that India's security depends on Pakistan taking legal action against alleged terrorists in that country. It is almost like asking our enemy to throw its weapons in the sea so that we can be secure. Our security depends on what we do here in India. Mr.Chidambaram should concentrate on that. War of words with Pakistan will only divert attention from the real task.
interrogate Saeed By: v kavi | Tuesday , 22 Sep '09 1:28:43 AM Reply | Forward So called war on terrorism is a joke but bigger joke is our ministers lectures world over about zero tolerance towards terror when at home they exhibit infinite patience. Right now, not withstanding innumerable attacks including 26/11 there are cricket matches ,unilateral most favored nation treatment to Pakistan and many such confidence building measures are extended by India. So if Pakistan feels confident enough to launch another attack which is predicted by the same ministers, there need be no surprise.US outsources its business accounting etc to India. Likewise ruling parties of India which are good only for Iftar parties and vote bank politics should outsourse India's defence to Israel, NATO and US. They simply cannot protect India from Pakistan which itself is their creation. SO how are they going to guard against bigger China? All we have now are duds in so called nuclear weapons and already they have committed India to no first strike and no more tests!
Ineffective ChidambaramBy: Kalpathy Venkataraman | Monday , 21 Sep '09 22:39:53 PM Reply | Forward Why is this guy making repeated noises about Hafiz Sayed? Even a person with an IQ of 60 knows that Pakistan is not going to budge an inch in this matter. The Americans are embroiled with their own problems in Afghanistan. Why should they care about PC's ineffective noises? Follow the techniques of Israel and USA. The U.S recently knocked out Baitulla Nehshud and other terrorist leaders and are targeting the leaders of the terrorist groups globally. In stead of the few thousand dollars that Chidambaram had spent recently for his visit to the US, perhaps, if the money is channeled to some Paki mercenaries, Hafiz may be resting in his grave by now. Who knows, Chidambaram might have visited USA to look into his hidden bank accounts. Chidambaram is not even able to get the Indian terrorist, Dawood Ibrahim from Pakistan and the UPA is unable to execute Afzal Guru for the raid on the Indian Parliament. It is a pity that India is not able to get a competent Home Minister like Patel.
saeedBy: birbell | Monday , 21 Sep '09 21:54:19 PM Reply | Forward india should demand pakistan to avail him foran interrogation by our secrity personnel either by ourselves or in prescence of pak authority.
Mr.Minister what are your plans to bring this terrorist to JusticeBy: Anil Kohli | Monday , 21 Sep '09 20:33:15 PM Reply | Forward Our Home Minister ad nauseam has been parroting these lines. We are sick and tired of listening and reading to them, this makes us out to be impotent as a nation to the world at large, other neighbors also realize that we are not capable of retaliating,or rather should it be said that as long as the present government is incharge of India they have nothing to fear from India as we lack the political will to retaliate. This terrorist will walk free under any and every case, national assets are not degraded at the behest of unfriendly countries. The question is what plans does the Home Minister of India have as a backup to ensure that Hafeez Saeed is brought to Justice other than running to USA.
Congress MinistersBy: kk | Monday , 21 Sep '09 20:28:37 PM Reply | Forward Congress has the worst ministers representing India views at International level and it is time something is done about them. To start with we have worst prime minister MMS then Krishna,Tharoor, home minister Chidambaram and our NSA man. All may be intellegent but when come to tackling Pakis, Chinese and USA Our ministers have not got the diplomacy to convey the message strongly. We are being over run by these countries in every direction. Pakis timely house arrest of Saeed to fool the world and still adament that Saeed has nothing to do with 26/11 Mumbai. The diversion of fund by Musharaaf and now the release of Khan letter of involvemet of Pak government in the proferlation of Nukes to rogue countries like Iran,Libya,China and others. And China incurssions. All these things have taken place and our ministers have adopted softly softly approach. Pakis have been shouting about Kashmir, Balouchistan and China about Arunachal Pradesh and none of ministers have managed to shut them up.
Congress MinistriesBy: narayanee | Monday , 21 Sep '09 23:11:19 PM Reply | Forward Beautiful argument by KK;STILL he could have included Australia also in the ilst of our Superiors along with Pakis,China and US
Homework remains..By: CK Raju Thrissur | Monday , 21 Sep '09 19:17:23 PM Reply | Forward Home minister should also tell us how did the attackers get to know about the details of foreign citizens without the collusion of an internal person? How did the details inside hotel computers reach them? Instead of sealing our own weaknesses, pointing fingers at our neighbour is definitely not in a good taste.
Interrogate Saeed for his role in 26/11 attacks, demands IndiaBy: Jaideep Shah | Monday , 21 Sep '09 11:29:59 AM Reply | Forward This as said by Mr. P Chidambaram, the Minister for Home Affairs, Government of India, an aspiring super power, a nation with 1 Billion population, a young nation which wants to stand up for its own security barring its own government who insists on running to Washington for complaints and issues such empty statements. What more to say.

Interrogate Saeed for his role in 26/11 attacks, demands IndiaBy: Indian | Monday , 21 Sep '09 21:30:32 PM Reply | Forward Chidam. is simply following the policies of the UPA Govt. People of India have elected them of power and now is the time to enjoy the fruits. Chidam. has been lauching protest after protest and then running to USA crying for help. He has indirectly admitted his weakness and unfortunately that of India's too.
