Iran, unlike China, Germnany, Japan and India is facing the longest sanctions in the history of modern times. Germans got Marshall plan. Japs got American help. Chinese are getting Most Favoured Nation Status. India is signing deals with America. Iran, despite all the odds, and got into a forced upon war, for 10 years, I repeat 10 years and yet managed to withstand the greatest harrassment from the west for 30 years. This is a grand acheivement of this nation. Iran never attacked any country for 400 years. The Iranian people are extremely polished and never deceived India. In exchange, Indians deceived them by voting to push the issue of nuclear technology to United Nations. Today, China is investing 100 billion dollars in Iran. Of course, Iranians are also humans. They are very upset upon India's disoriented foregin policy.

Actually,By: Arindam | Wednesday , 30 Sep '09 21:49:35 PM Reply | Forward For your information, Iran supported Christian Armenia (secretly) against Muslim Azerbaijan when the two countries clashed in the 1990s over Nagorno-Karabakh.Persians are not remotely as fanatical as the Pakis; indeed, the Iranians are a highly civilized people and their government is far more sophisticated than the official rhetoric indicates.Incidentally, I hope you are aware that the Taliban massacred Iranian diplomats when the overran Mazar-e-Sharief. There is no love for the Taliban in Tehran.
