IGNOU itself to blame for failure, wake up sibbalBy: L.C.Bilandani | Tuesday , 3 Nov '09 19:31:24 PM Reply | Forward IGNOU itself is to be blamed for failure of the online examination.Such examinations are conducted freely by many universities and institutions since years but IGNOU never took the matter seriously. Why should server crash, definately the IGNOU authorities knew the exact numbers as they had collected exam fee etc from the participants. All this goes to prove that IGNOU is a institution which never believed in efficency and now blames other who didnot get the contract for online exam technology.Again it is a matter of too much corruption in awarding contracts to inefficient firms. Why reputed names in IT industry were not given the work. There are many like Infosys,Wipro,TCS who would have done the job in a fool proof method and they have credentials but they will not give the cut demanded my IGNOU.Sibbal, you talk too much and do very little. You are fit only to create controversies by giving undeserved statements and talk of inviting foriegn universities without setting own house in order.

YES!!!!! IGNOU MUST DOBy: SUNIL | Tuesday , 3 Nov '09 17:57:18 PM Reply | Forward i think ignou must probe the issue in priority
ReBy: Sunny | Tuesday , 3 Nov '09 17:48:23 PM Reply | Forward What i can is that,I am not surprised. These things are not in the control of the test conducting authority. If there are fixed centres from which the tests are to be conducted, then from future one thing can be done.Server should be configured such that it allows request from only ip address' of 5 centres only. Thus the network traffic will be in limit, and the mischievious people will not be able to access the server.
