Childish media magic fails to amuse the audience! By: Hary Nambiar | Friday , 12 Jun '09 22:31:53 PM Reply | Forward Yes. As usual the media brought out a pigeon out of its pocket to charm its audience but it is not amusing. Should a talented player or a captain keep every reporter amused or what? How should he do it? What is a tussle between a captain and the vice captain or between a captain and a player, other than the wicked imagination of a stupid reporter? There is no point in blaming the Pakistani captain. He was asked a question and he answered it the best he could. Why should the stupid reporter ask that question to the Pakistani captain? He could have asked any of the Indian players! What is the need to ask that question? Some reporters are good at playing with tongue, with peter (pen), or with balls but they are lousy sportsmen. Dhony is a talented player and a talented captain. Leave him alone.
Unsolicited adviceBy: Hero Vaz | Friday , 12 Jun '09 21:51:04 PM Reply | Forward News has come that the Pakis have just been beaten by the Sri Lankans. The Paki captain must have lost his cool!!! He could not get his team to make the small score of 151 to win. He failed to take his own advice.
Re: Prashant MsgBy: Vijay | Friday , 12 Jun '09 21:05:37 PM Reply | Forward This msg is to reply to Prashant Msg: Well...This shows Prashant jealous. Do you like leaders like dravid, sachin(Manmohan). They are very talented but they are not leaders. Dhoni is a leader. He might have lot of plan using Shewag and Shewag is not clearly mentioned about his injury obviously as a captain you will get angry. Man understand cricket and then shout....
Irresponsible mediaBy: george | Friday , 12 Jun '09 19:48:21 PM Reply | Forward journalists dont care about the perfomance of the indian team. they pass comments for their own self interest.
ChatterjeeBy: Siddharth | Friday , 12 Jun '09 19:35:20 PM Reply | Forward First of all, Sehwag is quite serious about his professional carrier. If he would have been in a good health, he would have surely played all the league matches. I don't think that there is any fuss prevailing between Sehwag and Dhoni. If this would not have been the case, Sehwag would have definately come to the fore and further would have given birth to an issue which would surely have gained momentum till now. The point is that the media is more concerned about cooking up issues which are unnecessary. They are more intrested in spoiling the mood and momentum of the team. Quitting the tournament was Sehwag's own decion alltogether as he was not carring a good health. Iwould say that why the media people didn't clarify anything from Sehwag as he has quitted the tournament? I think that Dhoni should concentrate in the upcoming matches now and leave aside these issues.
THINK ABOUT YOURSELFBy: ASHISH KUMAR | Friday , 12 Jun '09 18:38:58 PM Reply | Forward Mr Pakistani skipper you do not need to advise the Indian Captain and better look back to your own statement when you said that T20 is a fun game. The captain of Indian Cricket team is the post of less tension only second to the Indian PM, since the expectations are of millions. It is always the win which Indian people want and nothing else. Moreover if a mediaperson keeps asking the same question again and again then it is the natural outcome. More so no captain would like to miss a player of the callibre of Sehwag who has proved to be a nightmare for the bowlers around the world in any format of the game, leave aside the T20 format.
Media should behave itselfBy: astrix9 | Friday , 12 Jun '09 17:48:57 PM Reply | Forward THe good for nothing nincompoups who call themselves Journalists should bacdk off and stop meddling in the team issues. I think our media is much happier when India is osing because then they are able to all their negative journalism. When India is winning they just can't do anything thus try to create unneccessary controversies. I do not understand the rationalle of anybody asking Younis Khan about his opinion on this whole issue. This is an example of media trying to create a controversy where none exists and trying its best to play with the morale and confidence of Dhoni and Indian Team
Captains coolBy: Indian | Friday , 12 Jun '09 17:46:26 PM Reply | Forward Dear PAK Captain , I think you should go to a place where there is only ice so that you yourself be cool. You can not comment on any thing related to the other captain , better you should mind your own business and your own players ,who are always quarreling among themselves.Dhoni is a very matured captain which PAK cannot have even for 50 years from now
